Odometer
Located in the bottom of the display. Itregisters the accumulated distance yourvehicle has traveled.
Battery Gauge:
An optional small battery gauge is providedfor Hybrid vehicles. This can be enabled inthe Settings menu under Battery Display.See General Information (page 110). The filllevel, or State of Charge, indicates theamount of energy stored in the high voltagebattery as a percent of total energy capacity.The level increases or decreases as thebattery charges and discharges duringnormal operation.
Regen Display
A circular arrow symbol displays whenenergy is being recaptured through theregenerative braking system. Regen Displaycan be disabled in the Settings menu. SeeGeneral Information (page 110).
Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge indicates about how muchfuel is in the fuel tank.
The arrow adjacent to the fuel pump symbolindicates on which side of your vehicle thefuel filler door is located.
Note:The fuel gauge may vary slightly whenyour vehicle is moving or on a slope.
Low Fuel Reminder
A low fuel level reminder displays andsounds when the distance to empty reaches75 mi (120 km) to empty for MyKey, and at50 mi (80 km), 25 mi (40 km), 10 mi (20 km)and 0 mi (0 km) for all vehicle keys.
Note:The low fuel reminder can appear atdifferent fuel gauge positions depending onfuel economy conditions. This variation isnormal.

Brake Coach Display
The Brake Coach appears after your vehiclehas come to a stop. It coaches you to brakein a manner which maximizes the amount ofenergy returned through the regenerativebraking system. The percent displayed is anindication of the regenerative brakingefficiency with 100% representing themaximum amount of energy recovery.

Description and ActionMessage
A warning message appearsin the information displaywhen the fuel system fails todepressurize or the fuel fillerdoor fails to open. You mayhave to use the fuel filler doormanual override lever.
Refuel ErrorSee Manual
If the information message appears, do thefollowing:
1.Check the fuel filler door for anything thatmay be obstructing its movement, forexample ice or snow.
2. Remove any obstruction from the fuelfiller door.
3. Press the button on the driver door toopen the fuel filler door.
4.If the fuel filler door fails to open and theinformation message remains in theinformation display, use the fuel fillerdoor manual override lever.

Note:The transmission must be in park (P)or neutral (N).
When using the manual override lever dothe following:
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Open the luggage compartment, themanual override lever is located on theleft-hand side.
3. Pull the manual override lever.
4. Switch the ignition off.
5. Complete the refueling process within20 minutes.
FUEL CONSUMPTION
Advertised Capacity
The advertised capacity is the maximumamount of fuel that you can add to the fueltank after running out of fuel. Included in theadvertised capacity is an empty reserve. Theempty reserve is an unspecified amount offuel that remains in the fuel tank when thefuel gauge indicates empty.
Note:The amount of fuel in the emptyreserve varies and should not be relied uponto increase driving range.
Fuel Economy
Your vehicle calculates fuel economy figuresthrough the trip computer average fuelfunction. See General Information (page110).
The first 1,000 mi (1,500 km) of driving is thebreak-in period of the engine. A moreaccurate measurement is obtained after2,000 mi (3,000 km).
