Distance to Empty
The distance to empty is displayed
differently according to the selected
drive mode in the Drive Mode
Integrated Control System.
For more information, refer to “Drive
Mode Integrated Control System” in
chapter 5.
When destination is not set
On average, a vehicle can drive about 120 miles (191 km). Under
certain circumstances where the
air conditioner/heater is ON, the
distance to empty is impacted,
resulting in a possible distance
range from 80~180 miles
(130~290 km). When using the
heater during cold weather or driv-
ing at high speed, the high voltage
battery consumes a lot more elec-
tricity. This may reduce the dis-
tance to empty significantly.
After “---” has been displayed, the vehicle can drive an additional 2~5
miles (3~8 km) depending on driv-
ing speed, heater/air conditioner,
weather, driving style, and other
factors.

The vehicle does not generate
a sound. Be aware of your
driving environment and drive
safely.
After you park the vehicle or
whilst you are waiting at a
traffic light, check whether
there are children or obsta-
cles around the vehicle.
Check if there is something

ing in reverse. Pedestrians
may not hear the sound of the
vehicle.

Gauges and meters
Speedometer
The speedometer indicates the
speed of the vehicle and is calibratedin kilometers per hour (km/h) and/or
miles per hour (MPH).
The speedometer is displayed differ-
ently according to the selected drive
mode in the Drive Mode Integrated
Control System.

ECO guide
The ECO guide shows the energy
consumption rate of the vehicle and
the charge/discharge status of the
regenerative brakes.

It shows the energy consumption rate
of the vehicle when driving uphill or
accelerating. The more electric ener-
gy is used, the higher the gauge level.

It shows the energy consumption
rate during normal driving condition.

This indicator displays which gear is
selected.
Shift indicator pop-up (if equipped)
The pop-up indicates the current
gear position displayed in the cluster
for about 2 seconds when shifting
into other positions (P/R/N/D).

Speed Limiter IndicatorLight (if equipped)
This indicator light illuminates

Forward Collision- Avoidance Assist (FCA)system warning light (if equipped)
This warning light illuminates :
When the POWER button is in the
ON position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3seconds and then goes off.
When the FCA system is turned off.
When the radar sensor or cover is blocked with dirt or snow. Check
the sensor and cover and clean
them by using a soft cloth.
When there is a malfunction with FCA. In this case, we recommend
you have your vehicle inspected by
a HYUNDAI authorised repairer.

Driving your vehicle
The drive mode may be selected
according to the driver's preference
or road condition.
The system resets to be in the NOR-
MAL mode (except if it is in ECO
mode), when the vehicle is restarted.
Information
If there is a problem with the instru-
ment cluster, the drive mode will be in
NORMAL mode and may not change
to ECO mode or SPORT mode. The mode changes, as below,
whenever the DRIVE MODE button
is pressed.
When NORMAL mode is selected,
it is not displayed on the instrument
cluster.
ECO mode
ECO mode improves fuel efficiency for eco-friendly
driving.
When ECO mode is selected by pressing the DRIVE MODE button,
the ECO indicator (green colour)
will illuminate.
If the vehicle is set to ECO mode, when the vehicle is turned OFF
and restarted the Drive Mode set-
ting will remain in ECO mode.
Information
Fuel efficiency depends on the driver's
driving habit and road condition.

When ECO mode is activated:
The acceleration response may beslightly reduced as the accelerator
pedal is depressed moderately.
The air conditioner performance may be limited.
The shift pattern of the gear may change.
The above situations are normal
conditions when ECO mode is acti-
vated to improve fuel efficiency.SPORT mode
SPORT mode provides
sporty but firm riding.
When SPORT mode is selected by pressing the DRIVE MODE button,
the SPORT indicator (orange
colour) will illuminate.
Whenever the vehicle is restarted, the Drive Mode will revert back to
NORMAL mode. If SPORT mode is
desired, re-select SPORT mode
from the DRIVE MODE button.
Information
In SPORT mode, the fuel efficiency
may decrease.
