Shifting into P (Park)1. Press the brake pedal and come to a complete stop.
2. Press the P button on the shiftlever.
Shifting from D (Drive) to M
(Manual) 1. While in D (Drive), pull the shift lever back to M (Manual).
2. Pull the shift lever back again to return to D (Drive).

Tap Shift
If equipped, Tap Shift allows you to
shift an automatic transmission
similar to a manual transmission. To
use the Tap Shift feature:
1. When in D (Drive), pull back on the shift lever to enter
M (Manual Mode).
2. Use the tap shift paddles located on the steering wheel
to manually shift the automatic
transmission.
3. To exit, pull back on the shift lever to go from M (Manual
Mode) back to D (Drive).

The infotainment system can be

Rear Vision
Camera (RVC)
RVC displays a view of the area
behind the vehicle on the
infotainment display when the
vehicle is shifted into R (Reverse) to
aid with parking and low-speed
backing maneuvers.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert
(RCTA) System
If equipped, the RCTA system
shows a triangle with an arrow on
the infotainment display to warn of traffic behind your vehicle that may
cross your vehicle's path while in
R (Reverse). In addition, beeps will
sound, or the driver seat will pulse.

Parking Assist
If equipped, Rear Park Assist (RPA)
uses sensors on the rear bumper to
assist with parking and avoiding
objects while in R (Reverse).
It operates at speeds less than
8 km/h (5 mph). RPA may display a
warning triangle on the infotainment
display and a graphic on the
instrument cluster to provide the
object distance. In addition, multiple
beeps or seat pulses may occur if
very close to an object.

Automatic Parking
Assist (APA)
If equipped, the APA system helps
to search for and maneuver the
vehicle into parallel or perpendicular parking spots using automatic
steering, DIC displays, and beeps.
When the vehicle speed is below
30 km/h (18 mph), press
Oto
enable the system.

Power Outlets
The 12-volt power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.

Steering Wheel
Adjustment
To adjust the steering wheel:1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel up or down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheel closer or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place. Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving.
Power Tilt and Telescoping
Steering WheelTo adjust the steering wheel,
if equipped:
Press the control up or down to tilt
the steering wheel up or down.
Press the control forward or
rearward to move the steering wheel
closer or away from you.
Do not adjust the steering wheel
while driving.
Steering Wheel Controls
The infotainment system can be
operated by using the steering
wheel controls. See
“Steering Wheel
Controls” in the infotainment
manual.
Heated Steering Wheel
(: If equipped, press to turn on or
off. A light near the button displays
when the feature is turned on.
The steering wheel takes about
three minutes to start heating.

charger will become very hot. On
the rare occasion that the
charging system does not detect
an object, and the object gets
wedged between the smartphone
and the charger, remove the
smartphone and allow the object
to cool before removing it from
the charging pocket, to prevent
burns.
The operating temperature is −20 °C
(−4 °F) to 60 °C (140 °F) for the
charging system and 0 °C (32 °F) to
35 °C (95 °F) for the mobile device.
To charge a compatible smartphone:
1. Remove all objects from the charging pocket. The system
may not charge if there are any
objects between the
smartphone and the charging
pocket.
2. With the smartphone screen facing the rear of the vehicle,
slowly insert the smartphone
into the charging pocket until
}appears on theVon the
infotainment display. This
indicates that the smartphone
is properly positioned and
charging. If a smartphone is inserted into the pocket and
}
does not display, remove the
smartphone from the pocket,
turn it 180 degrees, and wait
three seconds before inserting
the smartphone into the pocket
again.
To maximize the charge rate,
ensure the smartphone is fully
seated and centered in the
holder with nothing under it.
A thick smartphone case may
prevent the wireless charger
from working, or may reduce
the charging performance. See
your dealer for additional
information.

Information Displays
Power Flows (eAssist)
To view the Power Flow screens in
the infotainment display, touch
[
on the Home Page or on the
Application Tray on the top of the
infotainment display. Then touch
FLOW at the bottom of the display.
The Power Flow screens indicate
the current operating condition. The
screens show energy flow between
the engine, generator, and high
voltage battery. These components
will be highlighted when they are
active.
Energy Information
(eAssist)
To view the Consumption History
screen on the infotainment display,
touch
[on the Home Page or on
the Application Tray on the top of
the infotainment display. Then touch
INFO at the bottom of the display.
Consumption History
The consumption history graph
shows the average fuel economy
over the last 50 km or 50 mi. The
Present bar provides the average
fuel economy for the present 5 km
or 5 mi.
Touch Reset to clear the
history data.
Driver Information
Center (DIC)
The DIC displays are shown in the
center of the instrument cluster in
the Info App. See Instrument Cluster
0 114. The Info App is only available
when the vehicle is on. The displays
show the status of many vehicle
systems. The controls for the DIC
are on the right steering wheel
control.
