ble in the vehicle's center display2.The digital Owner's Manual can be accessedfrom Top view and in certain cases, the contex-tual Owner's Manual can also be accessed fromTop view.

Contextual Owner's Manual
The contextual Owner's Manual is accessed from Topview.
When a contextual Owner's Manual is available, itwill be shown to the right of Owner's manual inTop view.

Exterior and interior hotspots

Decals
There are various types of decals affixed in thevehicle to communicate important information ina clear and concise manner. The importance ofthese decals is explained as follows, in descend-ing order of importance.
Risk of injury
Black ISO symbols on a yellow warning field,white text/image on a black message field. Usedto indicate potential danger. Ignoring a warning ofthis type could result in serious injury or death.
Risk of damage
White ISO symbols and white text/image on ablack or blue warning field and message field.Used to indicate potential danger. Ignoring awarning of this type could result in damage.

NOTE

Procedures
Procedures that must be carried out in a certainorder are shown as numbered lists in theOwner's Manual.
When a series of illustrations are providedalong with the step-by-step instructions, thenumbers of the steps correspond with thenumbers of the illustrations.
Lists using letters instead of numbers areused in cases where the order in which theinstructions are carried out is not important.
Arrows with or without numbers are used toindicate the direction of movement.
Arrows with letters are used to indicate amovement in cases where the order in whichthe instructions are carried out is not impor-tant.

Technician certification
In addition to Volvo factory training, Volvo sup-ports certification by the National Institute forAutomotive Service Excellence (A.S.E.).
Certified technicians have demonstrated a highdegree of competence in specific areas. Besidespassing exams, each technician must also haveworked in the field for two or more years before acertificate is issued. These professional techni-cians are best able to analyze vehicle problemsand perform the necessary maintenance proce-dures to keep your Volvo at peak operating con-dition.
Twin Engine vehicles
Technicians performing work on a vehicle withelectrification should also have the necessarytraining and specialized certification required forperforming repairs and/or maintenance on avehicle with electrification.
