When the seat and passenger
compartment have reached an adequate
temperature, you can switch off the
function; reducing the consumption
of electrical current reduces fuel
consumption.
Do not use the function when the seat is
e m pt y.
Prolonged use is not recommended for
those with sensitive skin.
There is a risk of burns for people whose
perception of heat is impaired (illness,
taking medication, etc.).
There is a risk of overheating the system if
material with insulating properties is used,
such as cushions or seat covers.
Do not use the system:

f wearing damp clothing,

f child seats are fitted.
To avoid breaking the heating element in
the seat:

o not place heavy objects on the seat,

o not kneel or stand on the seat,

o not place sharp objects on the seat,

o not spill liquids onto the seat.
To avoid the risk of short-circuit:

o not use liquid products for cleaning
the seat,

ever use the heating function when

Rear head restraints
Never drive with passengers seated at
the rear while the head restraints are
removed; they must be in place and in the
high position.
Adjusting the seat backrest
angle
Always check that the backrest is fixed
properly.
These have a high position (for comfort and
better safety) and a low position (to give the
driver better rear visibility).
They can also be removed.
To remove a head restraint:

hen press on the lug. To adjust the backrest:

ull the control for wards to release the
backrest.

djust the backrest, then release the
control.
There are seven possible adjustment notches
for adjusting the angle.

Driving recommendations
Observe the driving regulations and remain
vigilant whatever the traffic conditions.
Pay close attention to the traffic and keep your
hands on the steering wheel so that you are
ready to react at any time to any eventuality.
As a safety measure, the driver must only carry
out any operations that require close attention
when the vehicle is stationary.
On a long journey, a break every two hours is
strongly recommended.
In bad weather, drive smoothly, anticipate the
need to brake and increase the distance from
other vehicles.
Important!
Never drive with the parking brake applied – Risk of overheating and damage to the
braking system!
Never leave a vehicle unsuper vised with
the motor running. If you have to leave
your vehicle with the motor running,
apply the parking brake and put the drive
selector into position N or P.
Driving on flooded roads
We strongly advise against driving on flooded
roads, as this could cause serious damage
to the motor or gearbox, as well as to the
electrical systems of your vehicle.
If you are obliged to drive through water:

heck that the depth of water does not
exceed 6 inches (15
cm), taking account
of waves that might be generated by other
users,
-
d
rive as slowly as possible. In all cases, do
not exceed 6
mph (10 km/h).
On leaving the flooded road, as soon as
circumstances allow, make several light brake
applications to dry the brake discs and pads.
If in doubt about the state of your vehicle,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Starting-switching off the
vehicle
Ignition switch
- Position 1: LOCK .
The steering is locked.

osition 2: ACC .
The accessories (audio system, 12V socket,
etc.) can be used.

osition 3: ON .
Switching on the ignition.

osition 4: S TA R T .
"Ready" lamp lights up.
Engine operation.
If you use accessories for a prolonged
period of time (with the switch in position
ACC ), you risk discharging the ancillaries
battery. Starting your vehicle will then no
longer be possible. Be careful.
