Cornering lighting
Activation
DeactivationWith dipped or main beam headlamps, this
system makes use of the beam from a front
foglamp to illuminate the inside of a
bend,
when the vehicle speed is below 25
mph
(approximately 40
km/h) (urban driving, winding
road, intersections, parking manoeuvres, etc.).
Without cornering lighting With cornering lighting
This function operates:
-

hen the corresponding direction indicator
is switched on,
or
-
f
rom a certain angle of rotation of the
steering wheel.
The system does not operate:
-
b
elow a certain angle of rotation of the
steering wheel,
-
a
bove 25 mph (40 km/h),
-
w
hen reverse gear is engaged.
Programming
It is possible to activate or deactivate
the cornering lighting from the
Driving/Vehicle menu.
This system is activated by default.
Wiper control stalk
In wintry conditions, remove snow, ice or
frost present on the windscreen, around
the wiper arms and blades and the
windscreen seal, before operating the
wipers.
Do not operate the wipers on a
dry
windscreen. Under extremely hot or cold
conditions, ensure that the wiper blades
are not stuck to the windscreen before
operating the wipers.

Changing a wiper blade
This position permits release of the windscreen
wiper blades.
It is used for cleaning or replacing the wiper
blades. It can also be useful, in winter, to
release the wiper blades from the windscreen.
To move the wiper blades to the vertical position:
F O perate the wiper control stalk within one
minute after switching off the ignition to
position the wiper blades vertically on the
windscreen.
To return them to the park position:

witch on the ignition and operate the wiper
control stalk.
Removing a wiper blade
F Lift the corresponding wiper arm.
F U nclip and remove the wiper blade.
Fitting a new wiper blade
F Put the corresponding new wiper blade in place and clip it.

old down the wiper arm carefully. To maintain the effectiveness of the wiper
blades, it is advisable to:

andle them with care,

lean them regularly using soapy water,

a
void using them to retain cardboard on the
windscreen,

eplace them at the first signs of wear.
Rear wiper

Intermittent wipe.
Wash-wipe (set duration).
If a
significant accumulation of snow or ice
is present, or when using a
bicycle carrier
on the boot, deactivate the automatic rear
wiper via the vehicle configuration menu
on the touch screen.
Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, the rear wiper
will come into operation if the windscreen wiper
is operating.
The activation or deactivation of
operation of the rear wiper when
engaging reverse gear can be set in
the Driving/Vehicle menu.
