00BBFu lly close the soft top using the soft- top
switch.
Opening and closing the trunk sepa rator
The trunk separator co vers luggage or loads in
th e trunk.
Depending on the equipment, theve hicle may be
equipped with a manual or automatic trunk sep‐
arator.
The soft top can be opened only when the man‐
ual trunk separator is closed.
In vehicles with an automatic trunk separator,
th is automatically closes when the soft top is
opened.

AIRCA Pre duces the draft in the front and rear
compartments when you are drivingwit hth e
soft top open.
Pa rticular lyturbulent air can reduce the ef fect of
AIR CAP.This can arise when you are driving
behind ano ther vehicle or if there is a crosswind,
fo rex ample.
AI RCA P consists of thefo llowing components:

Ra draft stop behind bo threar seat head
re stra ints When AI
RCAP is activated, the wind deflector
and the draft stop extend simultaneously.
AIR CAP can be activated or deactivated at
speeds of up toappr oximately 100mp h
(160 km/h).

When retracting AIR CAP,persons could
become trapped in the moving mechanism.

onto the upper frame of the windshield
and do not touch the AIR CAP wind
deflector.

Anti-theft protection
Fu nction of the immobilizer
The immobilizer pr events your vehicle from being
st ar ted without the cor rect SmartK ey.
The immobilizer is automatically activated when
th e ignition is switched off and deactivated when
th e ignition is switched on.
When leaving theve hicle, alw aysta ke the Smart‐
Ke ywit hyo u and lock theve hicle. An yone can
st art the engine if a valid SmartK eyhas been left
inside theve hicle.

If th eATA system is armed, a visual and audible
alarm is triggered in thefo llowing situations:
