Ra dio-contro lled equipment, such as toll sys‐
te ms, can only be mounted on areas of the wind‐
screen which are permeable toradio waves1 .
Areas permeable toradio wav es1 are best visi‐
ble from outside theve hicle when the wind‐
screen is illuminated using an extern al light
