2018 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL fold seats

1.Adjust the seatback to an upright drivingor riding position.
2. Pivot the head restraint forward towardyour head to the desired position.
After the head restraint reaches theforward-most tilt position, pivot it forwardagain to release it to the rearward, un-tiltedposition.
Rear seat outboard head restraints
The rear outboard head restraints consist of:
An energy absorbing headrestraint.A
Two steel stems.B
Guide sleeve unlock and removebutton.C
Fold button (If equipped).D
Removing the Head Restraint
1. Press and hold both C buttons.
2. Pull the head restraint up.
Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
Folding the Head Restraint
1. Press and hold button D.
2. Pull it back up to reset.
Rear seat center head restraint

Raising the Head Restraint
Pull the head restraint up.
Lowering the Head Restraint
1. Press and hold button C.
2. Push the head restraint down.
Removing the Head Restraint
1.Pull the head restraint up until it reachesits highest position.
2. Press and hold buttons C and D.
3. Pull the head restraint up.
Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
Power Front Head Restraints (If equipped)
To raise the head restraint, lift the switch upuntil you reach a comfortable height.
To lower the head restraint, press the switchdown.
To move the head restraint forward, pushthe switch forward until you reach thedesired position.
To move the head restraint rearward, pushthe switch rearward.
Power Rear Head Restraints (If Equipped)
Press the button on the overhead consoleto fold the rear outboard head restraints.
Note:If your vehicle has power rear headrestraints, you cannot remove them.

REAR SEATS
Adjusting the Rear Seats
WARNING: To prevent possibledamage to the seat or seatbelts, make surethat the seatbelts are not fastened beforefolding the seatback.
Folding the Seatback (If Equipped)
With the seat empty, pull the lever to fold theseatback forward.
Unfolding the Seatback
Rotate the seatback upward until theseatback latches in the upright position. Theseatback clicks when it is locked intoposition.

•Spill liquid on the front seats. This maycause the air vent holes to becomeblocked and not work properly.
•Place cargo or objects under the seats.They may block the air intake causingthe air vents to not work properly.
The ventilated seats only function when theengine is running.
Press this symbol to cycle through thevarious ventilation settings and off. Moreindicator lights indicate higher fan speeds.
If the engine falls below 350 RPM while theventilated seats are on, the feature turnsitself off. You need to reactivate it.
Note:To improve comfort, use the ventilatedseats along with the vehicle’s airconditioning system.
REAR SEAT ARMREST
Fold the armrest down to use the armrestand cupholders.
The cupholders are inside the rear seatarmrest. To access the cupholders, push theplastic panel on the front edge of thearmrest.
Push the panel again to close thecupholders.
Rear Seat Armrest (Livery)

Note:Do not exceed 80 lb (36 kg) of weighton the pass-through door.
