Stability Control
It flashes when the system isactive. If it remains illuminated ordoes not illuminate when youswitch the ignition on, this indicates amalfunction. During a malfunction the systemswitches off. Have the system checked byyour authorized dealer immediately. SeeUsing Stability Control (page 218).
Stability Control Off
It illuminates when you switch thesystem off. It goes out when youswitch the system back on or whenyou switch the ignition off.

Trunk Ajar
Displays when the ignition is onand the trunk is not completelyclosed.

Key in Ignition Warning Chime
Sounds when you open the driver's door andyou have left the key in the ignition.
Keyless Warning Alert (If Equipped)
Sounds the horn twice when you exit yourvehicle with the intelligent access key, afterthe last door is closed and your keylessvehicle is in RUN, indicating your vehicle isstill on.
Headlamps On Warning Chime
Sounds when you remove the key from theignition and open the driver's door and youhave left the headlamps or parking lampson.
Parking Brake On Warning Chime
Sounds when you have left the parking brakeon and drive your vehicle. If the warningchime remains on after you have releasedthe parking brake, have the system checkedby an authorized dealer immediately.

GENERAL INFORMATION

You can control various systems on yourvehicle using the quick action menu (QAM)buttons on the right-hand side of the steeringwheel. The information display provides thecorresponding information.

Note:Some MyKey menu options onlyappear if MyKey is enabled and at least oneMyKey is programmed.
Note:Speedometer, driving aid information,and distance to empty information (ifenabled) moves to the left information groupwhen a menu is opened.
This icon gives you the ability toswitch a feature on or off. A checkin the box indicates the feature isenabled, and unchecked indicates thefeature is disabled.

Tachometer
Indicates the engine speed in revolutionsper minute. Driving with your tachometerpointer continuously at the top of the scalemay damage the engine.
Turbo Gauge (If Equipped)
Indicates the amount of manifold air pressurein the engine.
Temperature Gauge
Indicates engine coolant temperature. Atnormal operating temperature, the levelindicator will be in the normal range. If theengine coolant temperature exceeds thenormal range, stop your vehicle as soon assafely possible, switch off the engine and letthe engine cool.
WARNING: Do not remove the coolantreservoir cap when the cooling system is hot.Wait 10 minutes for the cooling system tocool down. Cover the coolant reservoir capwith a thick cloth to prevent the possibilityof scalding and slowly remove the cap.Failure to follow this instruction could resultin personal injury.

Adaptive Steering

AWD

Displays when the system automatically disables to protect itself. This may be caused by operatingthe vehicle with the compact tire installed, if the system is overheating or if there is an issue withanother vehicle system preventing AWD operation. The system resumes normal operation andclears this message after cycling the ignition on and off and driving a short distance with theroad tire re-installed, after the system is allowed to cool or after the other vehicle system issuesare resolved.
