This warning light remains ON
after blinking for approximately 60
seconds, or repeatedly blinks ON
and OFF in 3 second intervals:
When there is a malfunction with the
TPMS.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected
by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

in chapter 6.
Automatic EmergencyBraking (AEB) Warninglight (if equipped)
This warning light illuminates :
When the AEB system is turned off.
When the radar sensor or cover is
blocked with dirt or snow. Check the
sensor and cover and clean them by
using a soft cloth.
When there is a malfunction with AEB. In this case, have your vehicle inspect-
ed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Headlight WarningLight
This warning light illuminates:
This warning light illuminates if one of the
exterior bulbs (headlamp, taillamp,
foglamp, etc.) is not operating properly.
One of the bulbs may need to be
replaced. If the vehicle is equipped with
LED headlamps, have the vehicle
inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.
Information
When replacing the bulb, use the same
wattage bulb.
For more information, refer to "BULB
WATTAGE" in chapter 8.

Safe Stopping
The TPMS cannot alert you to
severe and sudden tire damage
caused by external factors.
If you notice any vehicle instabili-
ty, immediately take your foot off
the accelerator pedal, apply the
brakes gradually with light force,
and slowly move to a safe posi-
tion off the road.

Adaptive Front LightingSystem (AFLS) WarningLight (if equipped)
This warning light blinks:
Once you set the Engine Start/Stop
Button to the ON position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3 sec-onds and then goes off.
When there is a malfunction with the AFLS.
If there is a malfunction with the
AFLS:
1. Drive carefully to the nearest safe location and stop your vehicle.
2. Turn the engine off and restart the engine. If the warning light remains
on, have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Master Warning Light
This indicator light illuminates
Once you turn the ignition switch or theEngine Start/Stop button to the ON
position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3 sec-onds and then goes off.
When there is a malfunction in opera- tion in any of the following systems:
- Exterior lamp malfunction
- Blind Spot Detection (BSD) malfunc-tion (if equipped)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) malfunction (if equipped)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- Service reminder
To identify the details of the warning, look
at the LCD display.
Door Ajar Warning Light (for conventionalcluster)
This warning light illuminates:
When a door is not closed securely.
Trunk Open WarningLight (for conventional cluster)
This warning light illuminates:
When the trunk is not closed securely.

Low Pressure
This warning message is displayed if the
tire pressure is low. The corresponding
tire on the vehicle will be illuminated.
For more information, refer to "Tire
Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)"
in chapter 6.
Low Fuel
This warning message is displayed if the
fuel tank is almost out of fuel.
When this message is displayed, the
vehicle range is approximately 30 miles.
When this message is displayed, the low
fuel level warning light in the cluster will
come on.
It is recommended to look for the nearest
fueling station and refuel as soon as pos-
sible.
Engine has overheated
This warning message is displayed when
the engine coolant temperature is above
248°F (120°C). This means that the
engine is overheated and may be dam-
aged.
If your vehicle is overheated, refer to
"Overheating" in chapter 6.

Turn signals and lane changesignals
To signal a turn, push down on the lever
for a left turn or up for a right turn in posi-
tion (A).
If an indicator stays on and does not
flash or if it flashes abnormally, one of the
turn signal bulbs may be burned out and
will require replacement.
Onetouch turn signal function
To activate the One Touch Turn Signal
function, push the turn signal lever up or
down to position (B) and then release it.
The lane change signals will blink 3, 5 or
7 times.

Before Entering the Vehicle
• Be sure all windows, outside mirror(s),and outside lights are clean and unob-
structed.
Remove frost, snow, or ice.
Visually check the tires for uneven wear and damage.
Check under the vehicle for any sign of leaks.
Be sure there are no obstacles behind you if you intend to back up.
Before Starting
Make sure the hood, the trunk, and thedoors are securely closed and locked.
Adjust the position of the seat and steering wheel.
Adjust the inside and outside rearview mirrors.
Verify all the lights work.
Fasten your seatbelt. Check that all passengers have fastened their seat-
belts.
Check the gauges and indicators in the instrument panel and the messages on
the instrument display when the igni-
tion switch is in the ON position.
Check that any items you are carrying are stored properly or fastened down
securely.
