Honda SensingTM (P 492)
Honda Sensing
TM is a driver support system
which employs the use of two distinctly
different kinds of sensors, a radar sensor
located at the lower part of the front
bumper and a front sensor camera mounted
to the interior side of the windshield,
behind the rearview mirror.
Front Sensor
Camera The camera is located
behind the rearview
mirror.
Radar Sensor The radar sensor is at
the lower part of the
front bumper.
Collision Mitigation
Braking System
TM
(CMBS
TM) (P 493)
Can assist you when there is a possibility of
your vehicle colliding with a vehicle or a
pedestrian detected in front of yours. The
CMBS
TM is designed to alert you when a
potential collision is determined, as well as
to reduce your vehicle speed to help
minimize collision severity when a collision is
deemed unavoidable.
Adaptive Cruise Control
(ACC) with Low Speed
Follow (LSF)

Helps maintain a constant vehicle speed and
a set following interval behind a vehicle
detected ahead of yours and, if the detected
vehicle comes to a stop, can decelerate and
stop your vehicle, without you having to
keep your foot on the brake or the
accelerator.
Lane Keeping Assist
System (LKAS)

Provides steering input to help keep the
vehicle in the middle of a detected lane and
provides tactile and visual alerts if the
vehicle is detected drifting out of its lane.
Road Departure
Mitigation (RDM) System

Alerts and helps to assist you when the
system detects a possibility of your vehicle
unintentionally crossing over detected lane
markings and/or leaving the roadway
altogether.
Traffic Sign Recognition

•Stays on - The area around the camera is
blocked by dirt, mud, etc. Stop your
vehicle in a safe place and wipe the debris
off with a soft cloth.
• Have your vehicle checked by a dealer if
the indicator and message are still
displayed even after you have cleaned the
area around the camera.

•Comes on when mud, snow, or ice
has accumulated in the vicinity of
the BSI sensor.
•Comes on while driving - Something
may be interfering with the BSI sensor.
Check the vicinity of the BSI sensor and
remove any obstacles.

Gauges and Displays
Gauges
Gauges include the speedometer, fuel gauge, and related indicators. They are
displayed when the power mode is in ON.
Displays your driving speed in mph (U.S.) or km/h (Canada).
Displays the amount of fuel left in the fuel tank.

You can show another speed unit on the driver
information interface and set the displayed
measurements to read in either mph and km/h.

You should refuel when the reading approaches .
Running out of fuel can cause the engine to misfire,
damaging the cata lytic converter.
The actual amount of remain ing fuel may differ from

Shows the remaining High Voltage battery charge level.
■High Voltage Battery Charge Level Gauge1High Voltage Battery Charge Level Gauge
The High Voltage battery ch arge level may decrease
under the following conditions:
•When the 12-volt batter y has been replaced.
•When the 12-volt battery has been disconnected.
•When the High Voltage battery control system
corrects its reading.
The charge level readin g will be corrected
automatically while driving.
Changes in the temperature of the High Voltage
battery can increase or decrease the battery’s
charging capacity. If temp erature changes cause the
battery’s capacity to change, the number of
indicators in the battery ch arge level gauge may also
change, even if the amount of charging remains the
same.

Driver Information Interface
The driver information interface show s the odometer, trip meter, outside
temperature indicator, and other gauges.
It also displays important messages such as warnings and other helpful information.
■Accessing contents in the main display
Press the (home) button, then roll the left selector wheel to sc roll to the content
you want to see. Press the left sele ctor wheel to see detailed information.
