KNOWING YOUR VEHICLE
In-depth knowledge of your new vehicle
starts here.
The handbook that you are reading
simply and directly explains how it
is made and how it works.
That’s why we advise you to read it
seated comfortably on board, so that
you can see what is described here for
yourself.DASHBOARD ................................. 8

CONTROLS
The main heating and ventilation
commands are listed below fig. 40:
Aair temperature adjustment knob
(hot/cold air mixing);
Binternal air recirculation on/off cursor;
Cfan and climate control system on/off
knob;
Dair distribution knob.CLIMATIC COMFORT
Knob D enables the air introduced into
the vehicle to reach all areas of the
passenger compartment through five
distribution options:
delivers air from central and side
vents
warms the feet and keeps the face
cool (bi-level function)
warms up the passenger
compartment faster
warms up the passenger
compartment and demists the
windscreen at the same time
demists and defrosts the
windscreen and front side
windows.
ADDITIONAL HEATER
(for versions/markets, where provided)
This device warms up the passenger
compartment more quickly when it
is very cold and the engine coolant
temperature is low.
The additional heater comes on
automatically when the engine is
started, if knob A is turned to the last
red sector and the fan (knob C) is
at least at the first speed level.
The additional heater turns off
automatically after the required comfort
conditions are achieved.39F0T0074

WARNING
100)If the battery needs to be replaced,
always contact a Fiat Dealership. Replace
the battery with a new one of the same
type and specifications.
101)Before opening the bonnet, make
sure that the vehicle is switched off and the
key is in the OFF position. Please follow
the instructions on the decal near the front
crossmember. It is advisable to extract
the key when there are other people in the
vehicle.
102)The vehicle should always be
evacuated after the key has been removed
or turned to the OFF position. When
refuelling, make sure that the car is
switched off with the key in the OFF
position.103)For vehicles with robotised gearbox,
in the event of automatic engine stopping
with the car on a slope, the engine should
be restarted by moving the gear lever
towards (+) or (-) without releasing the
brake pedal. For vehicles with robotised
gearbox and Hill Holder function, in the
event of automatic engine stopping with
the car on a slope, the engine must be
restarted by moving the gear lever towards
(+) or (-) without releasing the brake pedal,
so that the Hill Holder function, active
only with the engine running, becomes
available.
104)If the climate comfort is to be
favoured, the Start&Stop system can be
deactivated, for a continuous operation of
the climate control system.

PETROL ENGINES
Use unleaded petrol only, with an
octane number (R.O.N.) not lower than
95.
IMPORTANT Never introduce leaded
petrol to the tank, even in small
amounts in an emergency, as this
would damage the catalytic converter
beyond repair.
DIESEL ENGINES
Only use Diesel for motor vehicles
(EN590 specification).

STARTING AND DRIVING
FUEL CONSUMPTION
The fuel consumption figures given in the table below are determined on the basis of the type-approval tests laid down by
specific European Directives.
The following procedures are used to measure the fuel consumption:
urban cycle: begins with cold starting, followed by driving simulating the use of the vehicle in town;
extra-urban cycle: driving that simulates using the vehicle out of town with frequent acceleration in all gears; the speed
varies from 0 to 120 km/h;
combined consumption: calculated with a weighting of approximately 37% of the urban cycle and 63% of the extra-urban
cycle.
IMPORTANT The type of route, traffic situations, weather conditions, driving style, general conditions of the vehicle, trim
level/equipment/accessories, climate control system, vehicle load, roof rack, other situations that affect aerodynamics or air
drag may lead to different fuel consumption levels than those measured.
Fuel consumption according to the current European directive (litres/100km)
NOTE Consumption of methane-fuelled Natural Power versions is intended in m
3/100 km.
