Unlocking
the
vehicle
Press button on the remote control.
Depending on the settings, either only the drivj
er's door or all vehicle access points are unj
locked.
If only the driver's door is unlocked, press the button of the remote control again to unlock the other vehicle access points.
Press and hold this button on the rejmote control after unlocking.
The windows and the rear window are opened, as long as the button on the remote control is
pressed.
When the remote control is used near the vehij cle, it can also be used to open the convertible
top.
Hold down the remote control button until opening is completed.
Releasing the button or leaving the vicinity of the vehicle stops the motion.
Locking
the
vehicle Press button on the remote control.
All vehicle access points are locked.
When the remote control is used near the vehij
cle, it can be used to close the convertible top,
windows and rear window.
Hold down the remote control button until
the closing operation is completed.
Releasing the button or leaving the vicinity of the vehicle stops the motion.

Panic
modeYou can trigger the alarm system if you find yourjself in a dangerous situation.
Press button on the remote control for
at least 3 seconds.
To switch off the alarm: press any button.
Comfort
Access Concept
The vehicle can be accessed without activating
the remote control.
All you need to do is to have the remote control
with you, such as in your pants pocket.
The vehicle automatically detects the remote
control when it is in close proximity or in the car's interior.
Unlocking

vehicle
Grasp the handle of a vehicle door completely.
Locking
the
vehicle
Touch the surface on the handle of a vehicle
door with your finger for approx. 1 second withj out grasping the door handle.
Tailgate Opening
'xUnlock the vehicle and press the top half of
the BMW emblem.'xIf carrying the remote control, press the top half of the BMW emblem.'xPress button on the remote control
for approx. 1 second.

Convertible
top
Overview
Convertible top switch
Opening Press and hold the switch.
The windows are rolled down, and the
convertible top opens as longs as the switch is
pulled.
Closing Pull the switch and hold it.
The windows are lowered, the convertible top closes and the windows are raised again as long
as the switch is pressed.

1.Switch on the ignition.2.Set the desired position.3. Press button on the seat. The LED
in the button lights up.4.Press the desired button 1 or 2 on the seat
while the LED is illuminated. The LED goes
out.
Calling
up
settings
The stored position is called up automatically.
Press selected button 1 or 2.
The procedure stops when a switch for setting
the seat or one of the memory buttons is
pressed.
