By default, the voice recognition system is in english.
Press this button. Say "
Setup".
Say "Language".
Say the language of your choice in e nglish, example:
say "French" for French.
Say "Ye s " to start the change of language process
Say "No" to return to steps 4 to 7.

he system says "Select a language: English, Spanish, French,
German or Italian".

he system then says "French selected. Is this correct?"

he system repeats the language chosen and completes the
change of language process.
If you do not start the training procedure within around 3
minutes of
pressing SP
e AK, the process is cancelled.
If you press SP
e AK within 5 seconds following the play of a voice
command, this command is saved again. What is the Bluetooth
® hands-free telephone with voice
recognition?

he system uses wireless communication technology known as
Bluetooth
® which allows you to make hands-free telephone calls in
your vehicle via your Bluetooth® compatible mobile telephone.
You can make telephone calls using a microphone located in the
courtesy lamp, making use of the simple steering mounted controls
or by the voice recognition function with voice commands. Five
languages are available:

nglish (the default), Spanish, French,

erman and Italian.

Training the user's voice
You can use the user voice training function to create a voice model
for one person per language.

he characteristics of your voice and your pronunciation are saved
in this model to provide the best voice recognition.
t

he vehicle must be stationary with the parking brake applied.
Switch off your telephone during the operation to avoid any
interruption.
Press this button. The system says the first of 45 standard phrases.
Say "Word training ". When you are ready to start, press and
hold this button.
Repeat each of the phrases in the table on the following
page.
t

he system saves your voice and moves on to the next
command.
Continue the process until all of the phrases have been
saved.
An explanation message is given. After playing all the voice commands, the system says "
The word
training is complete" and ends the process.
If you do not start the programming process within approximately
3 minutes after pressing the SP
e AK button, the process is
cancelled.
If you press the SP
e AK button within 5 seconds of the play of a
voice command, this command is saved again.

For reasons of safety and because the sustained attention of the
driver is needed, operations of matching a Bluetooth® mobile phone
with the audio system's hands-free function must be done with the
vehicle stationary.

he systems says "Please say the 4 digits of a pairing cod e".
Press this button. The system confirms the validity of the number spoken,
answer "Ye s".
Say "No" to return to step 7.
Say "Pairing options ".
Pairing a Bluetooth® telephone
First connection
Say "Pair a telephone".
Say "Configure".

he system can register up to 7 Bluetooth
® compatible mobile
telephones.
t

he telephone which has the highest level of priority is connected
automatically.
t

he system says "Do you wish to pair a telephone, delete a
telephone or obtain the list of paired telephones? ".Say a 4-digit number which will be recorded as the pairing
code.
Remember this pairing code as you must enter it in the telephone
in one of the following steps of the matching procedure.

Consult your mobile telephone's user manual and enter
the pairing code recorded in step 7 in the telephone.

One is the highest level of priority ".

the "number" of its priority.

he systems says "Pairing complete" then emits an audible signal
and deactivates the voice recognition.

he services available depend on the network, the SIM card and the compat\
ibility of the Bluetooth
® telephone used. Check in your telephone
user

manual and with your service provider for the services you have access t\
o.
If the system does not detect the Bluetooth
® compatible mobile
telephone, the matching process stops ands is accompanied by an
audible signal.
If you select a level of priority which has already been allocated to
another telephone, the system asks you if you wish to replace this
level of priority.
