■Split-screen display
Different information can be displayed on the left and right of the screen. For
example, audio screen can be displayed and operated while the fuel con-
sumption information screen is being displayed. The large screen on the left of
the display is called the main display, and the small screen to the right is called
the side display.

■Selecting the operation screen
When selecting the main display, move the Remote Touch knob to the left.
When selecting the side display, move the Remote Touch knob to the right.
■ Main display

Automatic air conditioning system
Air outlets and fan speed are automatically adjusted according to the tem-
perature setting.
Vehicles with a Lexus Display Audio system: Press the “MENU” button on the
Lexus Display Audio controller, then sele ct “Climate” to display the air condi-
tioning control screen.
For details on the Lexus Display Audio controller, refer to “Lexus Display
Audio controller” on P. 440.
Vehicles with a navigation system: Press the “MENU” button on the Remote
Touch, then select to display the air conditioning control screen.
The air conditioning system can be displayed and operated on the side display.

The illustrations in this section are for left-hand drive vehicles.
The button positions and shapes will di ffer for right-hand drive vehicles.

■Change the airflow mode
To change the air outlets, press .
■S-FLOW mode
In S-FLOW mode, priority for the airflow is given to the front seats, reducing
the airflow and air conditioning effect on the rear seats.
If a passenger is not detected in the front passenger seat, priority for the air-
flow will be given to the driver's seat only.
In this case, the temperature indicator for the front passenger side will turn off.
S-FLOW mode will be activated automatically according to the set tempera-
ture, outside temperature, etc. ( P. 545)
The indicator comes on when S-FLOW mode is on.

■Using the automatic mode
Press the “AUTO” button or select “A UTO” on the air conditioning control
screen.
Press to switch to automatic air intake mode. (if equipped)
The air conditioning system automatically switches between outside air
and recirculated air modes.
Adjust the temperature setting.
To stop the operation, press the “OFF” button.
■Automatic mode indicator
If the fan speed setting or air flow modes are operated, the automatic mode
indicator goes off. However, automatic mode for functions other than that
operated is maintained.
■Adjusting the temperature for driv er and passenger seats separately
(“DUAL” mode)
To turn on the “DUAL” mode, perfor m any of the following procedures:
●Select “DUAL” on the air conditioning control screen.
●Select “DUAL” on the side display operation screen. (Vehicles with a navi-
gation system)
●Adjust the temperature setting of th e passenger side with the passenger
side temperature adjustment button.
The indicator comes on when the “DUAL” mode is on.
