●When the smart access system with push-button start is off, the entry unlock function
cannot be customized.
●When the doors remain closed after unlocking the doors and the timer activated auto-
matic door lock function activates, signals will be generated in accordance with the
operation buzzer volume and operational si gnal (Emergency flashers) function set-
tings.
●Some settings can be changed using a switch or the audio system screen. If a setting is
changed using a switch , the changed setting will not be reflected on the audio system
screen until the engine switch is turn ed off and then to IGNITION ON mode.
■When customizing using the Remote To uch or Lexus Display Audio controller
Stop the vehicle in a safe place, apply the par king brake, and shift the shift lever to P. Also,
to prevent battery discharge, leave the engine running while customizing the features.
WARNING
■During customization
As the engine needs to be running during customization, ensure that the vehicle is
parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area such as a garage, exhaust
gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO) may collect and enter the vehicle. This
may lead to death or a serious health hazard.
NOTICE
■During customization
To prevent battery discharge, ensure that the engine is running while customizing fea-
tures.

If you believe that your vehicle has a defect which could cause a crash or could
cause injury or death, you should immediately inform the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying the Lexus Divi-
sion of Toyota Motor Sa les, U.S.A., Inc. (Toll-free: 1-800-25-LEXUS).
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and if it
finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a recall and

tiède. Vérifiez régulièrement que les ceintures ne sont pas usées, effilochées
ou entaillées excessivement.

■Détérioration et usure des ceintures de sécurité
Inspectez le système de cein tures de sécurité régulièrement. Contrôlez l'absence de
coupures, d'effilochages et de pièces dess errées. N'utilisez pas une ceinture de sécu-
rité endommagée avant qu'elle ne soit remplacée. Une ceinture de sécurité endom-
magée ne permet pas de protéger un occupant de blessures graves ou mortelles.
