ignition on, press the TRIP button A to toggle to User Settings . Press and hold the
TRIP button for more than 2 seconds to enter .
Toggle through the menu by pressing the TRIP
button and select the item by pressing the RESET

To reset or deactivate the Maintenance
system reminder, press the RESET button B for more than one second . Then toggle
to the preference and select by pressing the
RESET button B .

When in User Settings mode, press the TRIP

select by pressing the RESET button B .
When in the Maintenance mode, toggle to
the menu item and press the RESET button B to enter:

The ISG system is disabled when: •A seat belt is unfastened •The hood or a door is opened •Battery condition is poor •The front or rear defroster is turned on •Engine coolant temperature is low
•The outside ambient temperature is too low/high •Emission control devices activate •The vehicle is on a steep slope

Idle, Stop and Go (ISG) System*
The ISG system helps reduce fuel consumption by automatically shutting down
the engine when the vehicle is at a standstill .
When the ISG system is ON and the vehicle is at a standstill the engine will
stop, and the green AUTO STOP indicator on the instrument cluster A will
illuminate and the message Auto Stop will appear in the LCD screen* .
The engine will restart when the brake pedal is released or the shift lever is
moved from D (Drive) to the R (Reverse) position or to Sport mode . When engine
restarts, the green AUTO STOP indicator on the instrument cluster will turn off .
To deactivate the ISG System, press the ISG OFF button B . If you press again,
the system will be activated .
REMINDERS:
•ISG is active by default at vehicle start-up . When ignition is cycled, ISG will turn ON again
•Under certain conditions, the engine will restart automatically
• If the AUTO STOP indicator is illuminated yellow, please contact an authorized Kia dealer

Aux/USB/iPod® Port & Power Outlets
The AUX/USB/iPod® ports can be used to connect audio devices,
smartphones, MP3 players and an iPod® . The Power Outlets are
for 12V electric accessories .
Press the DONE button* on the navigation screen to ensure changes are saved .

The power outlets are inactive when ignition is in the OFF position .

Standard Audio System* Clock Setup:
1 . With audio system on: Press the SETUP/CLOCK button A until the clock adjustment mode displays
2 . Rotate knob B to set the Clock, then press to save

UVO eServices System* Clock Setup:
Press the CLOCK button to display the Clock Setting screen .
Then use the on-screen buttons to navigate through setup .
UVO eServices with Navigation* Clock Setup:
Press the SETUP button and select the on-screen CLOCK button and then
TIME to display the Clock Setting screen . Then use the on-screen buttons
to adjust time . Press DONE to save settings .

REMINDER: Using the power outlets and AUX /USB/iPod® ports for prolonged periods of time with the ignition / ENGINE START/STOP button in the ACC or ON position (Engine OFF ) could cause the battery to discharge .

Hood Release Lever and Latch
Opening the Hood:
1 . Pull the Hood Release Lever A to unlatch
the Hood
2 . In the front of the vehicle, lift the Hood
slightly, push the secondary Latch B to
the left inside of the hood’s center and lift
the hood
3 . Pull out the support rod from the Hood and
set into place to hold the Hood open
Fuel Door Release Lever
Lift the lever C upwards to release
the fuel door .
Trunk Release Lever
(4-door model)
Lift the lever D upwards to unlock
the trunk lid .
Sunvisor
Use the Sunvisor to shield direct light through the front or side
windows . Slide the Sunvisor out and adjust as needed .
REMINDERS:
•Sunvisor may not shield all direct light
• The Sunvisor may impair visibility if not adjusted properly . Do not operate the vehicle if Sunvisor is impairing your visibility
• Be aware of seating position when adjusting or swinging Sunvisor around to or from the front or side windows .
REMINDER: Open the Hood only after turning the engine off, on a flat surface, with the gear shift in P (Park) position and setting the parking brake .
Closing the Hood:
Lower the Hood about halfway and then press down to securely lock
in place .
REMINDER: While lowering and closing, keep hands away from under the Hood .
