Trunk
To open the trunk:
.Press
|with the transmission
in (P) Park.
. Press and hold
Yon the RKE
transmitter.
. If equipped, press the touch pad
on the underside of the trunk lid
after unlocking all doors.
If equipped with Keyless Access,
the RKE transmitter must be within
1 m (3 ft) of the trunk. Press the
touch pad on the underside of the trunk and lift to open. See
Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) System

When closing the trunk, use the
pull cup.

Windows
The power windows only operate
with the ignition in ACC/
ACCESSORY or ON/RUN/START,
or when Retained Accessory Power
(RAP) is active. See Retained
Accessory Power (RAP) 0209. Press or pull the switch to open or
close the window.

Seat Adjustment
Manual Front Seats
To adjust a manual seat:
1. Pull the handle at the front of the seat.
2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the
handle.

Transmission
Driver Shift Control (DSC)
This feature allows for changing
gears similar to a manual
transmission. To use this feature,
if equipped:
1. Move the shift lever from D (Drive) rearward to
M (Manual Mode).
2. Using the button on the top of the shift lever, press the
+ (plus) end of the button to
upshift, or press the −(minus)
end of the button to downshift.

Power Door Locks
Q:Press to lock the doors.
K:Press to unlock the doors.
Delayed Locking
This feature is activated through
vehicle personalization. See Vehicle
Personalization 0139.
When delayed locking is active and
Qis pressed on the door lock
switch while the door is open, a
chime will sound three times. When all the doors are closed, the
doors will lock automatically after
five seconds. If a door is reopened
before five seconds have elapsed,
the five-second timer will reset once
all the doors are closed again.
Press
Qon the door lock switch
again or press
Qon the RKE
transmitter to override this feature
and lock the doors immediately.
Automatic Door Locks
The doors will lock automatically
when all doors are closed, the
ignition is on, and the vehicle is
shifted out of P (Park).
To unlock the doors:
. Press
Kon the power door lock
switch.
. Shift the transmission into
P (Park).
Automatic door locking cannot be
disabled. Automatic door unlocking
can be programmed. See Vehicle
Personalization 0139.
Lockout Protection
Key Access
If the key is in the ignition and the
power door lock switch is pressed
with the driver door open, all doors
will lock and only the driver door will
unlock.
Keyless Access
If equipped with Keyless Access,
when the vehicle is in ACC/
ACCESSORY or ON/RUN/START
and the power door lock switch is
pressed with the driver door open,
all doors will lock and only the driver
door will unlock.
If the vehicle is off and locking is
requested while a door is open,
when all doors are closed the
vehicle will check for RKE
transmitters inside. If an RKE
transmitter is detected and the
number of RKE transmitters has not
reduced, the driver door will unlock.

To open the trunk:

When closing the trunk, use the
pull cup.
Emergency Trunk Release
Handle
Caution
Do not use the emergency trunk
release handle as a tie-down or
anchor point when securing items
in the trunk as it could damage
the handle.
If equipped, there is a
glow-in-the-dark emergency trunk
release handle on the trunk lid. This
handle will glow following exposure
to light. Pull the release handle to
open the trunk from the inside.
After use, return to the stored
position.

Speed Warning : The Speed
Warning display allows the driver to
set a speed that they do not want to
exceed. To set the Speed Warning,
press
pwhen Speed Warning is
displayed. Press
worxto adjust
the value. Press
Vto set the speed.
Once the speed is set, this feature
can be turned off by pressing
V
while viewing this page. If the
selected speed limit is exceeded, a
pop-up warning is displayed with a
chime.
Compass : In certain vehicles the
compass setting will allow for
manually setting the compass. The
user can set the zone and calibrate
the compass. This setting page is
only available on vehicles that are
equipped with Remote Compass
Module.
Speedometer
The speedometer shows the
vehicle's speed in either kilometers
per hour (km/h) or miles per
hour (mph).
Odometer
The odometer shows how far the
vehicle has been driven, in either
kilometers or miles.
Trip Odometer
The trip odometer shows how far
the vehicle has been driven since
the trip odometer was last reset.
The trip odometer is accessed and
reset through the Driver Information
Center (DIC). See Driver
Information Center (DIC) 0128.
Tachometer
The tachometer displays the engine
speed in revolutions per
minute (rpm).
For vehicles with the Stop/Start
system, when the ignition is in ON/
RUN, the tachometer indicates the vehicle status. When pointing to
AUTO STOP, the engine is off but
the vehicle is on and can move. The
engine could auto start at any time.
When the indicator points to OFF,
the vehicle is off.
When the engine is on, the
tachometer will indicate the engine’s
revolutions per minute (rpm). The
tachometer may vary by several
hundred rpm’s, during Auto Stop
mode, when the engine is shutting
off and restarting.
A slight bump may be felt when the
transmission is determining the
most fuel efficient operating range.
Caution
If the engine is operated with the
rpm’s in the warning area at the
high end of the tachometer, the
vehicle could be damaged, and
the damage would not be covered
by the vehicle warranty. Do not
operate the engine with the rpm’s
in the warning area.
