INT :When enabled, move the
windshield wiper lever to INT. Turn
the
xINT band on the wiper lever
to adjust the sensitivity.
. Turn the band up for more
sensitivity to moisture.
. Turn the band down for less
sensitivity to moisture.
. Move the windshield wiper lever
out of the INT position to
deactivate Rainsense.
Wiper Arm Assembly Protection
When using an automatic car wash,
move the windshield wiper lever to
OFF. This disables the automatic
Rainsense windshield wipers.
With Rainsense, if the transmission is
in N (Neutral) and the vehicle speed is
very slow, the wipers will
automatically stop at the base of the
windshield. The wiper operations return to normal
when the transmission is no longer in
N (Neutral) or the vehicle speed has
increased.

L: Pull the windshield wiper lever
toward you to spray windshield
washer fluid and activate the wipers.
The wipers will continue until the
lever is released or the maximum
wash time is reached. When the
windshield wiper lever is released,
additional wipes may occur depending
on how long the windshield washer
had been activated. See Washer Fluid
0 253 for information on filling the
windshield washer fluid reservoir.
{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use the
washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer fluid
can form ice on the windshield,
blocking your vision.
Clock
The infotainment system controls are
used to access the time and date
settings through the menu system. See
“Overview” in the infotainment
manual for information about how to
use the menu system.
Setting the Time
To set the time:
1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button and touch Time and Date.
2. Touch Set Time and touch + or −
to increase or decrease hours,
minutes, and AM or PM. Touch
12Hr or 24Hr for 12 or 24 hour
clock.
3. Touch
}to go back to the
previous menu.
If auto timing is set, the time
displayed on the clock may not update
immediately when driving into a new
time zone.
To set the date: 1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button and touch Time and Date.
2. Touch Set Date and touch + or −
to increase or decrease month,
day, or year.

To set the clock display: 1. Touch the SETTINGS screen button and touch Time and Date.
2. Touch Clock Display and touch OFF or ON to turn the clock
display off or on.

Power Outlets
Power Outlet 12 Volt Direct Current
The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has two accessory power
outlets:
. Inside the instrument panel
storage area below the climate
control system.
. On the rear of the center floor
console.
Lift the cover to access the accessory
power outlet. Certain electrical accessories may not
be compatible with the accessory
power outlet and could overload a
vehicle circuit breaker or adapter fuse.
If overloaded, the circuit breaker will
reset after all devices are disconnected
or if Retained Accessory Power (RAP)
is turned off and then back on. See
Retained Accessory Power (RAP)
0188.
Wait one minute to allow the circuit
breaker to reset before reconnecting
devices or turning RAP back on. If the
problem continues, the issue could be
within your device. Try another
known good device to make sure the
circuit breaker is operating properly.
If this does not resolve your problem,
see your dealer.
It is possible to replace the factory
power outlet with a cigar lighter
receptacle, if desired. This requires the
factory installed circuit breaker to be
replaced with a standard minifuse by
the dealer. A minifuse will not reset
and will have to be replace if blown.
Caution
Failure to replace the circuit
breaker with the minifuse could
overheat the cigar lighter and
damage the vehicle.
When adding electrical equipment, be
sure to follow the proper installation
instructions included with the
equipment. See Add-On Electrical
Equipment 0230.
Caution
Hanging heavy equipment from the
power outlet can cause damage not
covered by the vehicle warranty.
The power outlets are designed for
accessory power plugs only, such as
cell phone charge cords.
Always unplug electrical equipment
when not in use and do not plug in
equipment that exceeds the maximum
15 amps rating.

Washer Fluid Messages
WASHER FLUID LOW ADD FLUID
This message may display when the
washer fluid level is low. Fill the
windshield washer reservoir as soon
as possible. SeeEngine Compartment
Overview 0234 for the location of the
windshield washer reservoir. Also, see
Washer Fluid 0253.
Vehicle Personalization
Use the audio system controls to
access the personalization menus for
customizing vehicle features.
The following are all possible
personalization features. Depending
on the vehicle, some may not be
available.
Infotainment System Audio System
Controls
To access the personalization menu:
1. Press SETTINGS on the Home page on the infotainment system
display.
2. Press the desired feature to display a list of available options.
3. Press to select the desired feature setting.
4. Press
0to return to the
previous menu.
Personalization Menus
The following list of menu items may
be available:

Time and Date
Manually set the time and date. See
Clock 0102.
Driving Mode
These settings will overwrite the main
Vehicle Mode selections made with
the mode button(s) on the console.

be sure the cooling system, including
the coolant surge tank pressure cap, is
cool before you do it.
{Warning
Steam and scalding liquids from a
hot cooling system can blow out
and burn you badly. Never turn the
cap when the cooling system,
including the surge tank pressure
cap, is hot. Wait for the cooling
system and surge tank pressure cap
to cool.
{Warning
Adding only plain water or some
other liquid to the cooling system
can be dangerous. Plain water and
other liquids, can boil before the
proper coolant mixture will. The
coolant warning system is set for
the proper coolant mixture. With
plain water or the wrong mixture,
the engine could get too hot but(Continued)

you would not get the overheat
warning. The engine could catch
fire and you or others could be
burned. Use a 50/50 mixture of
clean, drinkable water and
DEX-COOL coolant.
Caution
In cold weather, water can freeze
and crack the engine, radiator,
heater core, and other parts. Use
the recommended coolant and the
proper coolant mixture.
{Warning
You can be burned if you spill
coolant on hot engine parts.
Coolant contains ethylene glycol
and it will burn if the engine parts
are hot enough. Do not spill coolant
on a hot engine. 1. Remove the coolant surge tank
pressure cap from the top
chamber when the cooling
system, including the coolant
surge tank pressure cap and
upper radiator hose, is no
longer hot.
Turn the pressure cap slowly
counterclockwise. If you hear a
hiss, wait for that to stop. This
will allow any pressure still left
to be vented out the
discharge hose.
2. Keep turning the pressure cap slowly and remove it. Open the
surge tank service port cap to
the lower chamber
