Concept
Most functions displayed on the Control Dis#j
play can be operated by voice commands via the voice activation system. The system sup#j
ports you with announcements during input.

Requests
Do not use the voice activation system to ini#j
tiate an Emergency Request. In stressful situa#j tions, the voice and vocal pitch can change.This can unnecessarily delay the establish#jment of a phone connection.
Instead, use the SOS button, refer to
page 301, close to the interior mirror.
Environmental

Depending on the equipment version, BMW
Touch Command is located in the rear console or in the center armrest in the rear.

The tray in the center armrest in the rear has

Insert BMW Touch Command into the tray with the screen facing upward to ensureproper locking. To charge the battery, insertBMW Touch Command with the multifunction
socket to the left.

Language
setting
The menu language depends on the iDrive set#j tings.
Resetting
to
factory
settings
BMW Touch Command can be reset to factory
settings.
All data and personal settings in the device
memory are deleted and the connection to the
vehicle is interrupted.

The menu centrally displays all messages ar#j riving in the vehicle in list form.
