The short-te rm memory collects driv ing informa
tion from the time the ignition is switched on un
til it is switched off.
If you continue driving with
in two hours after switching the ignition
off, the
new values are included when ca lculating the cur
rent trip information.
Unlike the short-term memory, the long-term
memo ry is not erased automatically. You can se
lect the time period for evaluating trip informa-
