●Automatic cancellation by the system
When the vehicle stops in accordance with the stopping of the vehicle in front, three short
beeps and a single long beep will sound and the Adaptive Cruise Control is automatically
cancelled.
In the following cases, a buzzer will sound a single long beep and Adaptive Cruise
Control is automatically canceled. Also, a pop-up screen will be displayed on the multi
function display.

xThe lead vehicle that your vehicle has been
tracking within a distance of approximately
100 ft (30 m) and at a speed differential of
approximately 20 MPH (30 km/h) or less is
no longer detected. (At this time the lead
vehicle indicator located in the meter
display will flash.)
xThe grade of the road is very steep.
xVehicle Dynamics Control or Traction
Control Function is activated.
xThe vehicle speed has exceeded approxi-
mately 100 MPH (160 km/h) while cruise control is set.
xThe steering wheel was turned significantly in either direction.
xThe transmission select lever is moved to a position other than .
NOTE
When the Adaptive Cruise
Control is turned to OFF, the
screen of the multi function
display will switch to the triple
meter screen.

CAUTION
The automatic braking function is released gradually approximately 2
seconds after stopping and the vehicle starts creeping forward. Be sure to
depress the brake pedal and stop the vehicle completely.
