Multi-information display
Presents the driver with a variety of vehicle data ( P. 113)
Displays warning messages in case of a malfunction ( P. 5 4 9 )
Fuel gauge
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature. If the engine coolant temperature gauge
indicator ( ) enters the red zone, a buzzer will sound and the indicator will turn red
and start flashing. Also, a warning message will be displayed.
Engine oil temperature gauge
Displays the engine oil temperature. If the engine oil temperature gauge indicator
( ) enters the red zone, the indicator will turn red and start flashing.
Outside temperature
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40°F (-40°C) to 122°F
(50°C). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient temperature
is 37°F (3°C) or lower.
Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute
Digital speedometer
Analog speedometer
Shift position and gear position

Odometer and trip meter display
Odometer:
Displays the total distance the vehicle has been driven
Tr i p m e t e r :
Displays the distance the vehicle has been driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters “A” and “B” can be used to record and display different distances indepen-
dently.
Eco driving meter
Displays the vehicle acceleration. The more rapidly the vehicle is accelerated, the
lower the number of blue segments displayed, indicating that your driving is less eco-
friendly. This meter is designed as a guid eline to show the eco-friendliness of your
driving.

■The meters and display illuminate when
The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■Welcome illumination of the analog speedometer
●When the driver’s door is opened, th e analog speedometer will illuminate.
Then, when the driver’s door is closed, the analog speedometer will illuminate and go
off (pulsate) 3 times.
●In the following situations, the analog speedometer will no t pulsate even though the
driver’s door is opened and closed:
• Within 60 seconds after the analog meter pulsation completes
• Within 60 seconds of turn ing the engine switch off

■Eco driving meter
●The number of blue segments displayed on the eco driving meter decreases/increases
depending on the vehicle acceleration. Use this meter as a guideline when you wish to
drive in an eco-friendly manner that reduces fuel consumption.
However, on a downward grade where the vehicle can accelerate without the acceler-
ator pedal being depressed, the eco driv ing meter may not display the eco-driving
state correctly.
●When the shift lever is moved to P, N or R, the segments will turn gray and the eco driv-
ing meter will not operate.

To help protect the engine, the engine speed is
controlled by starting the red zone of the
tachometer at different engine speeds ranging
from 3700 rpm to 7300 rpm depending on the
engine coolant temperature.
Before driving under extremely high load condi-
tions, make sure to sufficiently warm up the
engine.

■Screen description
Estimated course line display mode
Vehicle center guide line
This line indicates the estimated vehicle center on the ground.
Vehicle width guide line
These lines indicate a guide path when the vehicle is being backed straight up.
The displayed width is wider than the actual vehicle width.
These lines align with the estimated course lines when the steering wheel is
straight.
Estimated course lines
These lines show an estimated course when the steering wheel is turned.
Distance guide line
These lines move, together with the estimated course lines, in sync with the steer-
ing wheel and show points approximately 1.5 ft. (0.5 m) (red) and 3 ft. (1 m) (yel-
low) from the center of the edge of the bumper.
Distance guide line
This line indicates a point approximately 1.5 ft. (0.5 m) (blue) from the edge of the
bumper.

Steering wheel audio switches
Some audio features can be controlled using the switches on the steering
wheel.
Operation may differ depending on th e type of audio system or navigation
system. For details, refer to the manual provided with the audio system or nav-
igation system.

Press and hold the switch until
you hear beeps indicating that the
system is listening.
The Mobile Assistant can be used
only when the following screen is
displayed.
To cancel the Mobile Assistant, select
“Cancel”, or press and hold the off hook
switch.
To restart the Mobile Assistant for addi-
tional commands, press the off hook
switch. Mobile Assistant can only be
restarted after the system responds to a
voice command. After some phone and
music commands, the Mobile Assistant
feature will automatically end to com-
plete the requested action.
Mobile Assistant
The Mobile Assistant feature will activate Apple’s Siri Eyes Free mode via
the steering wheel switches. To operate the Mobile Assistant, a compatible
cellular phone must be registered and connected to this system via
Bluetooth

■Adjusting the volume
The volume of the Mobile Assistant can be adjusted using the
“PWR·VOL” knob or
steering wheel volume switches. The Mobile Assistant and phone call volumes are syn-
chronized.
■Microphone
●Wait for the listening beeps befo re using the Mobile Assistant.
●The Mobile Assistant may not recognize commands in the following situations:
• When spoken too quickly.
• When spoken at a low or high volume.
• When the roof or windows are open.
• When passengers are talking while th e Mobile Assistant is being used.
• When the air conditioning syst em’s fan speed is set high.
• When the air conditioning vents ar e turned toward the microphone.
■Mobile Assistant precautions
●The available features and functions may vary based on the iOS version installed on the
connected device.
●Some Siri features are limited in Eyes Free mode. If you attempt to use an unavailable
function, Siri will inform you that the function is not available.
●If Siri is not enabled on the cellular phone connected via Bluetooth, an error message
will be displayed on the screen.
●While a phone call is active, the Mobile Assistant cannot be used.
●If using the navigation feature of the cellular phone, ensure the active audio source is
Bluetooth audio or iPod in order to hear turn by turn direction prompts.
It is not necessary to speak directly into the
microphone when using
the Mobile Assistant.
