Display settings
Go to “Display”: “MENU” button “Display”
Turn off screen.
Adjust screen quality.
Adjust screen quality of the rear
view monitor camera.
Change to day mode.
This setting turns the screen off. To turn it on, press any button such as the
“AUDIO” button or “MENU” button.
If a screen off image has been set, the set image will be displayed.
When the headlights are turned on, the screen dims.
However, the screen can be switched to day mode by selecting “Day Mode”.
The screen will stay in day mode when the headlights are turned on until “Day Mode”
is selected again.
Select “General” or “Camera” on the “Display” screen or select “Display” on
each audio menu screen. ( P. 3 4 8 )
Adjust the display as desired by turning the controller clockwise (+) or coun-
terclockwise (-).
To select “Contrast”, “Brightness”, “Color” or “Tone”, move the controller to the left.
(“Color” and “Tone” are available when “Display” on the audio settings screen for
each audio source is selected.)
■Changing the sample image (when “General” is selected)
Move the controller to the right and select the desired sample image.
Settings are available for adjusting the contrast and brightness of the screen.
The display can also be turned off.

The clock can be adjusted by pressing the buttons. Pressing and holding will move the
clock hands backward.
Pressing and holding will move the
clock hands forward.
Please use a power supply for electronic goods that use less than 12 VDC/10 A
(power consumption of 120 W).
When using electronic goods, make sure that the power consumption of all the
connected power outlets is less than 120 W.
●The power outlet can be used when the engine switch is in ACCESSORY or
IGNITION ON mode.

■Adding engine oil
If the oil level is below or near the
low level mark, add engine oil of the
same type as that already in the
engine.
Make sure to check the oil type and prepare the items needed before adding
oil.Remove the oil filler cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Add engine oil slowly, checking the dipstick.
Install the oil filler cap by turning it clockwise.
■Engine oil consumption
A certain amount of engine oil will be consum ed while driving. In the following situations,
oil consumption may increase, and engine o il may need to be refilled in between oil
maintenance intervals.
●When the engine is new, for example directly after purchasing the vehicle or after
replacing the engine
●If low quality oil or oil of an inappropriate viscosity is used
●When driving at high engine speeds or with a heavy load, when towing, or when driving
while accelerating or decelerating frequently
●When leaving the engine idling for a long time, or when driving frequently through
heavy traffic

■Headlight high beams (halogen bulbs)
For the right side only: Remove the bolt, and move the
washer fluid supply opening.
When it is difficult to work,
remove the washer fluid supply
opening.
Turn the cover counterclockwise
and remove it.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

Install the bulb base.
Align the 3 tabs on the light bulb with
the mounting, and insert. Turn it
clockwise to set.
Confirm the installation of the
bulb base.
Shake the bulb base gently to check
that it is not loose, turn the headlight
high beams on once and visually
confirm that no light is leaking
through the mounting.
Install the cover and turn it clock-
wise.
Align the of the cover to the
positioning mark of the lamp body
and insert and turn it. There is the positioning mark on
the outer side of the light unit.

■Front side marker light (bulb type) Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.
■Front turn signal lights (bulb type)Open the hood and remove the cover for engine compartment cover.

Remove the cover. Push the center of the clip.
Remove the clip and cover.
