Condamnation automatique des ouvrants en roulage (H79 Ph2 - Dacia) ENG_NU_1079-6_H79Ph2_Dacia_1
AUTOMATIC LOCKING WHEN DRIVING
Operating principle
After the vehicle is started, the system
automatically locks the doors once your
speed reaches approximately 5 mph
(7 km/h).
Activating/deactivating the
function
To activate: with the vehicle at a
standstill and the engine running, press
the switch 1 until a beep sounds.
To deactivate: with the vehicle at a
standstill and the engine running, press
the switch 1 until a beep sounds.
If you decide to keep the
doors locked when you
are driving, remember that
it may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain access
to the passenger compartment in
the event of an emergency.
Operating faults
If you notice an operating fault (automa-
tic locking impossible), first check that
all doors are correctly locked. If they
are correctly locked and the fault is still
present, contact an approved Dealer.
Also make sure that locking has not
been inadvertently deactivated.
If this is the case, reactivate it.

vehicles with an automatic
gearbox
Before starting, move the lever to posi-
tion P.
Refer to the information on the
“Automatic gearbox” in Section 2.
Stopping the engine
With the engine idling, turn the key
back to “Stop” position St.
Special note
Depending on the vehicle, accessories
(e.g. radio) stop working either when
the engine is switched off or when the
driver’s door is opened or when the
doors are locked.Driver’s responsibility
Never leave an animal,
child or adult who is not
self-sufficient alone on your
vehicle, even for a short time.
They may pose a risk to themselves
or to others by starting the engine,
activating equipment such as the
electric windows or locking the
doors, for example.
Also, in hot and/or sunny weather,
please remember that the tempera-
ture inside the passenger compart-
ment increases very quickly.
Never switch off the ignition
before the vehicle has stopped
completely. Switching off the
engine disables the assistance
equipment: brakes, steering, etc.,
and additional seatbelt devices.
The steering is locked when the key
is removed.
RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY.
STARTING, STOPPING THE ENGINE (2/4)
Do not park the vehicle or
run the engine in locations
where combustible sub-
stances or materials such
as grass or leaves can come into
contact with a hot exhaust system.

Air conditionné : informations et conseils utilisation (B90 - U90 - L90 Ph2 - F90 Ph2 - R90 Ph2 - H79 - Dacia) ENG_NU_1079-6_H79Ph2_Dacia_3
AIR CONDITIONING: information and advice on use
Fuel consumption
You will normally notice an increase
in fuel consumption (especially
when driving in town) when the air
conditioning is operating.
For vehicles fitted with air condition-
ing with no automatic mode, switch
off the system when it is not re-
quired.
Advice for reducing consumption
and helping to preserve the envi-
ronment
Drive with the air vents open and
the windows closed.
If the vehicle has been parked in
the sun, open the doors for a few
moments to let the hot air escape
before starting the engine. Operating faults
As a general rule, contact your ap-
proved dealer in the event of an op-
erating fault.
– Reduction in de-icing, demist-
ing or air conditioning per-
formance.
This may be caused by the pas-
senger compartment filter car-
tridge becoming clogged.
– No cold air is being produced.
Check that the controls are set
correctly and that the fuses are
sound. Otherwise, switch off the
system.
Do not open the refriger-
ant fluid circuit. The fluid
may damage eyes or skin.Presence of water under the ve-
hicle. After prolonged use of the air
conditioning system, it is normal for
water to be present under the vehi-
cle. This is caused by condensation.Maintenance
Refer to the Maintenance Document
for your vehicle for the inspection
frequency.
