Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS)

This vehicle isequipped withtheTire Pressure
Monitoring System(TPMS).It monitors tire
pressure ofall tires except thespare. When
the low tirepressure warninglightislit, and the
CHECK TIREPRES (pressure) warningmes-
sage isdisplayed inthe vehicle information
display ,one ormore ofyour tires issignificantly
under-inflated.
The TPMS willactivate onlywhen thevehicle is
driven atspeeds above16MPH (25km/h) .
Also, thissystem maynotdetect asudden drop
in tire pressure (forexample aflat tire while
driving) .

Checking thetire pressure

the valve stem. Donot press toohard or
force thevalve stemsideways, orair will

gauge toeliminate thisleakage.

Remove thegauge.

Read thetirepressure onthe gauge
