. Tire pressure risesandfalls depending on
the heat caused bythe vehicle's operation
and theoutside temperature. Lowoutside
temperature canlower thetemperature of
the airinside thetire which cancause a
lower tireinflation pressure. Thismaycause
the low tirepressure warninglightto
illuminate. Ifthe warning lightilluminates inlow
ambient temperature, checkthetire
pressure forallfour tires.

1. Remain calmanddonot overreact.
2. Donot apply thebrakes.
3. Maintain afirm grip onthe steering wheel

Ifthere isnothing inthe way,steer the
vehicle tofollow theroad while thevehicle

road surface. Whenalltires areonthe road
surface, steerthevehicle tostay inthe

High-temperature powertrainoildue tocon-

(about twicepersecond) .The driving modemay
change tothe 2WD mode. Ifthe warning light
blinks rapidly duringoperation, stopthevehicle
with theengine idlinginasafe place immedi-

can continue driving.
A large difference betweenthediameters of
front andrear wheels willmake thewarning light
blink slowly (about onceper2seconds) .Pull off

The Anti-lock BrakingSystem(ABS)controls
the brakes sothe wheels donot lock during hard
braking orwhen braking onslippery surfaces.
The system detects therotation speedateach wheel
andvaries thebrake fluidpressure to
prevent eachwheel fromlocking andsliding. By
preventing eachwheel fromlocking, thesystem
helps thedriver maintain steeringcontroland
helps tominimize swerving andspinning on
slippery surfaces.

Depress thebrake pedalandhold itdown.
Depress thebrake pedalwithfirmsteady
pressure, butdonot pump thebrakes. The

This vehicle isequipped withtheTire Pressure
