shown inthe ªNISSAN ServiceandMainte-
nance Guideº.When replacing thefilter, wipe
the inside ofthe aircleaner housing andthe
cover withadamp cloth.

. Operating theengine withtheair
cleaner removed cancause youor
others tobe burned. Theaircleaner not
only cleans theair,itstops
flame ifthe engine backfires. Ifit
is not there, andtheengine back-
fires, youcould beburned. Donot
drive withtheaircleaner removed,
and becareful whenworking onthe
engine withtheaircleaner removed.
