the shift position in M while on a slippery surface
The vehicle will not shift down from 2nd gear.

→ Drive the vehicle in 2nd gear or higher.

rounding area on the bumper is dirty or covered with iceA buzzer also sounds.
→ Clean the sensor and its surrounding area on the
bumper.
Indicates a malfunction in the cruise control system or
dynamic radar cruise control system (if equipped)
Press the “ON/OFF” button once to deactivate the
system, and then press the button again to reactivate
the system.

→ Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus

ature, etc.) are not met.
→When the operation conditions of the camera sen-
sor (temperature, etc.) are met, the following sys-
tems will become available.
• PCS (Pre-Crash Safety system)
• LKA (Lane-Keeping Assist) system
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering control) system
• RSA (Road Sign Assist)
• AHS (Adaptive High-beam System)
•Automatic High Beam

Indicates that the system is temporarily unavailable due
to a malfunction in a sensor other than the camera sen-
sor

→ Turn the LDA (Lane Departure Alert with steering
control) system off, wait for a little while, and then

Power was turned off due to the
automatic power off function.
→Next time when starting the
engine, increase the engine
speed slightly and maintain that
level for approximately 5 min-
utes to recharge the battery.

Once
The driver’s door was opened and
closed with the engine switch turned
off and then the engine switch was
put in ACCESSORY mode twice
without the engine being started.
→ Press the engine switch while
depressing the brake pedal.
During an engine starting proce-
dure in the event that the electronic
key was not functioning properly
(→ P. 589), the engine switch was
touched with the electronic key.
→ Press the engine switch within
10 seconds of the buzzer sound-
ing.
Once
The steering lock could not be
released within 3 seconds of the
engine switch being pressed.

depressing the brake pedal and
moving the steering wheel left
and right.
