INSTRUMENT PANEL NAVIGATOR WITH THE LARGE CENTRAL DISPLAY
SCREEN AND PEUGEOT CONNECT MEDIA NAVIGATION (NG4 3D)
Controls
There are four buttons to control the instrument panel large central
display screen:
1. access the main menu, confi rm the selection,
2. move up through the menu,
3. move down through the menu,
4. return to the previous screen, exit from the menu.
Main menu
Press button 1 for access to the main menu and select one of the
following functions:
- "Vehicle parameters",
- "Choice of language",
- "Choice of units".
Press button 2 or 3 to move on the screen.
Press button 1 again to confi rm the selection.
This group of buttons permits:
- when stationary , confi guration of the vehicle's equipment and of
the parameters of the central display (languages, units...),
- while driving , scrolling of the active functions (trip computer,
navigation...). The main menu and its associated functions can only be
accessed when stationary , via buttons
1 to 4 .
A message appears on the central screen, above a certain speed
threshold, indicating that the main menu cannot be displayed.
The trip computer displays can only be accessed while driving, via
buttons 2 and 3 (refer to the "Trip computer" section).

DISPLAYS IN THE SCREEN
Displays according to context:
- time,
- date,
- ambient temperature with air conditioning (the value displayed fl ashes if there is a risk of ice),
- visual parking assistance,
- audio functions,
- alert messages,
- the display and vehicle equipment settings menus.
CONTROLS
From the control panel of your PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5), you
can:
press the "MENU" button for access to the main menu ,
press the " " or " " buttons to scroll through the items on the
screen,
press the "MODE" button to change the permanent application
(audio source, telephone...),
press the " " or " " buttons to change a setting value,
press the "OK" button to confi rm,
or
press the "Back" button to abandon the operation in progress.

MONITORING
MAIN MENU
Press the "MENU" button to gain access to the main menu :
- audio functions,
- vehicle diagnostics,
- personalisation-confi guration,
- telephone (Bluetooth system).
Press the " " or " " buttons to select the menu required, then
confi rm by pressing the "OK" button.
"AUDIO FUNCTIONS" MENU
With the PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5) switched on, once this menu
has been selected you can activate or deactivate the functions linked
with use of the radio (RDS, REG, RadioText) or the CD (introscan,
shuffl e, CD repeat).
For more information on the "Audio functions" application, refer to the \
PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5) section.
"DIAGNOSIS VEHICLE" MENU
Once this menu has been selected, you can consult information
concerning the status of the vehicle.
Alert log
This summarises the active warning messages, displaying them in
succession on the multifunction screen.
On the " Diagnosis vehicle " menu, select the following application:
Press the
"MENU" button to gain access to the main menu.
Press the arrows, then the "OK" button to select the " Diagnosis
vehicle " menu.

"PERSONALISATION-CONFIGURATION"
MENU
Once this menu has been selected, you can gain access to the
following functions:
- defi ne the vehicle parameters,
- display confi guration,
- choice of language.
Define the vehicle parameters *
Once this menu has been selected, you can activate or deactivate the
following equipment:
- selective unlocking (refer to the "Access" section),
- guide-me-home lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- interior mood lighting (refer to the "Ease of use and comfort" section)\
,
- daytime running lamps ** (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- rear parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section). Example: setting of the duration of the guide-me-home lighting
Press the "
" or " " buttons, then the "OK" button to select the
menu required.
Press the " " or " " buttons, then the "OK" button to select the
"Guide-me-home headlamps" line.
Press the " " or " " buttons to set the value required (15, 30 or
60 seconds), then press the "OK" button to confi rm.
Press the " " or " " buttons, then the "OK" button to select the
"OK" box and confi rm or press the "Back" button to cancel.

LOST KEYS
Go to a PEUGEOT dealer with the vehicle's registration document, your personal identifi cation documents and if possible the key code label.
The PEUGEOT dealer will be able to look up the key code and the transponder code re\
quired to order a new key.
LOCKING THE VEHICLE
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compartment by the emergency services more diffi cult in an emergency.
As a safety precaution, never leave children alone in the vehicle, excep\
t for a very short period.
In all cases, it is essential to remove the key from the ignition switch\
when leaving the vehicle.
REMOTE CONTROL
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not operate \
it while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it may unlo\
ck
the vehicle, without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range \
and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it from
working and the remote control would have to be reinitialised.
No remote control can operate when the key is in the ignition switch, ev\
en when the ignition is switched off, except for reinitialisation.
ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION
Do not make any modifi cations to the electronic engine immobiliser system; this could cause malfunctions.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metals which are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collection point.
WHEN PURCHASING A SECOND-HAND VEHICLE
Have the pairing of all of the keys in your possession checked by a PEUG\
EOT dealer, to ensure that only your keys can be used to open and
start the vehicle.

EASE OF USE and COMFORT
STORING DRIVING POSITIONS
System which takes into account the electrical settings of the driver's \
seat and the door mirrors. It enables you to store two positions using
the buttons on the side of the driver's seat.
STORING A POSITION
Using buttons M / 1 / 2
Switch on the ignition.
Adjust your seat and your door mirrors.
Press button M , then press button 1 or 2 within four seconds.
An audible signal is heard indicating that the settings have been stored.
RECALLING A STORED POSITION
Storing a new position cancels the previous position.
Using button 1 or 2
Press and hold button 1 or 2 until the audible signal is heard
indicating the end of the adjustment.
When the ignition is off, after a few consecutive position recalls,
the function will be deactivated until the engine is started, to
prevent discharging of the battery.

4. Automatic visibility programme
The automatic comfort programme may not be suffi cient to
quickly demist or defrost the windscreen and side windows
(humidity, several passengers, ice, etc.).
MANUAL OPERATION
If you wish, you can make a different choice from that offered by the
system by changing a setting. The other functions will still be controlled
automatically.
Pressing the "AUTO" button returns the system to completely
automatic operation.
For maximum cooling or heating of the passenger compartment,
it is possible to exceed the minimum value 14 or the maximum
value 28.
Turn control 2 or 3 to the left until "LO" is displayed or to the
right until "HI" is displayed.
5. Air conditioning On / Off
Press this button to switch off the air conditioning.
Switching the system off could result in discomfort (humidity,
condensation).
Press this button again to return to automatic operation of the air conditioning. The indicator lamp in the "A/C" button comes on.
6. Air distribution adjustment
Press one or more buttons to direct the air fl ow towards:
- the windscreen and side windows (demisting or defrosting),
- the windscreen, the side windows and the vents,
- the windscreen, the side windows, the vents and the footwells,
- the vents and the footwells,
- the vents,
- the footwells,
- the windscreen, the side windows and the footwells.
7. Air flow adjustment
Turn this control to the left to decrease the air fl ow or to the right to increase the air fl ow.
The air fl ow indicator lamps, between the two fans, come on
progressively in relation to the value requested.
Press this button to activate the automatic visibility programme.
The indicator lamp in the button comes on.
The system automatically controls the air conditioning, the air fl ow and
the air intake and provides optimum distribution of the ventilation to t\
he
windscreen and side windows.
To switch the system off, press this button again or on "AUTO" .
The indicator lamp in the button goes off and the indicator lamp in
the "AUTO" button comes on.
