CENTRAL LOCKING CONTROL
Locking

Press
this button to lock the vehicle.
The
red
indicator
lamp
in
the
button
comes
on. If
the
vehicle
is
locked
from
the
outside,
this button is inactive.
F
In
this
case,
use
the
remote
control
or
the
key
to
unlock
the vehicle or pull an interior
door
handle to open a door.
If
one
of
the
doors
is
open,
cen
-
tral
locking
from
the
inside
does
not
take place. Unlocking

Press
the
button
again
to
unlock
the
vehicle.
The
red
indicator
lamp
in
the
button
goes
off.
ANTI-INTRUSION SECURITY
Operation
If
one
of
the
doors
or
the
boot
is
open,
the
automatic
central
locking
does
not
take
place.
This
control
allows
the
simultaneous
locking
or
unlocking
of
the
doors
and
boot
from
inside
the
vehicle.
This
system
allows
automatic
simulta
-
neous
locking
of
the
doors
and
boot
as
soon
as
the
speed
of
the
vehicle
ex
-
ceeds 6 mph (10 km/h).
Carrying long and voluminous
objects
If you want to drive with the boot open,
you should press the central locking
button
to
lock
the
the
doors. Otherwise,
every
time
the
speed of
the
vehicle
exceeds
6
mph
(10
km/h),
the
locks
will
rebound and
the
alerts
mentioned
above
will appear
.
Pressing the central locking button un -
locks the vehicle.
Above
6
mph
(10
km/h),
this
locking
is
temporary
.
This is signalled by the sound of the locks
rebounding, accompanied by il -
lumination
of
this
symbol
in
the
instru
-
ment
panel,
an
audible
signal
and
the display
of an alert message.

window
controls
remain
operational
for
approxi

seconds
after
the

gnition
is
switched

the
vehicle

locked
after
a
door
is
opened.
If
one
of
the
passenger
windows
cannot
be
operated
from
the
driver's
door
control
panel,
carry
out
the
operation
from
the
con
-
trol
panel
of
the
passenger
door
concerned,
and vice versa.
After approximately ten consecutive complete
opening/closing move -
ments
of
the
window
,
a
protection function
is
activated
which
only
au
-
thorises
closing
of
the
window
to prevent
damage
to
the
electric
win
-
dow
motor.
Once
the
window
is
closed,
the
con
-
trols
will
become
available
again
af
-
ter
approximately 40 minutes.
If the window cannot be closed (for
example, in the presence of
ice),
once
the
window
has
low
-
ered:
F
press
and
hold
the
control
until
the window opens fully,
F
then
pull
the
control
immedi
-
ately
and
hold
it
until
the
win
-
dow
closes,
F
continue
to
hold
the
control
for
approximately
one
sec
-
ond
after
the
window
has
closed.
The
safety anti-pinch func-
tion is not operational during
these operations.
There
are
two
options:
-
manual mode
F
Press
or
pull
the
control
gently
.
The window
stops
when
the
control
is released.
-
automatic mode
F
Press
or
pull
the
control
firmly
.
The
window
opens
or
closes
fully
when
the
control
is
released.
F
Pressing
the
control
again
stops
the
movement
of
the
window.
Safety anti-pinch
When
the
window
rises
and
meets
an
obstacle,
it
stops
and
partially
lowers
again.

MATS
Removable carpet protection.
Fitting
When fitting the mat for the first time, on
the driver's side use only the fixings
provided
in the wallet attached.
The
other
mats
are
simply
placed
on
the
carpet.
Removal
To remove the mat on the driver's side:
F
move
the
seat
as
far
back
as
pos
-
sible,
F
unclip
the fixings,
F
remove
the mat.
Refitting
To refit the mat on the driver's side:
F
position
the mat correctly,
F
refit
the fixings by pressing,
F
check
that
the
mat
is
secured
cor
-
rectly.
To
avoid
any
risk
of
jamming
of
the
pedals:
-
only
use
mats
which
are
suited
to
the
fixings
already
present
in the vehicle; these
fixings
must be used,
-
never
fit
one
mat
on
top
of
another
.
The
use
of
mats
not
approved
by
CITROËN
may
interfere
with
access
to
the
pedals
and
hinder
the operation of the cruise con
-
trol
/ speed limiter.
The
mats
approved
by
CITROËN
have
two
fixings
located
below
the
seat.
STORAGE DRAWERS
Located under each front seat, except for
the driver's seat on versions with
electric
seat.
Opening
F Raise the front of the drawer and pull
it open.
Do not place heavy objects in the drawer.
Removal
Avoid removing the drawer completely , as
refitting it is not easy.
F
Open
the drawer fully.
F
Pull the drawer upwards to disengage it.
Refitting
However, if it has been completely re -
moved, to refit it:
F
use
the
torch
to
illu
minate
the
area
under
the seat,
F
engage
the drawer in its runners,
F
lift
the
retaining
tongues
and
slide
the
drawer under these tongues,
F
at
the
end
of
its
travel,
press
down
on
the drawer to engage it.

To remove the shelf:

unhook
the two cords,
F
raise
the
shelf
slightly
,
then
remove
it.
There
are
several
options
for
storing
the
shelf:

upright
behind

CITROËN recommends that
children
should travel on the
rear seats
of your vehicle:
-
rearward
facing up to the
age
of 3,
-
forward
facing
over
the
age
of
3.
Although
one
of
CITROËN
main
criteria
when
designing
your
vehicle,
the
safety
of
your
children
also
depends
on
you.
*
The
regulations
on
carrying
children
are
specific
to
each
country
.
Refer
to
the
legislation
in
force
in
your
country
.
For
maximum
safety
,
please
observe
the
following
recommendations:
-
in
accordance
with
European
regu
-
lations, all children under the age
of 12 or less than one and a half
metres tall must travel in ap-
proved child seats suited to their
weight,
on
seats
fitted
with
a
seat
belt
or
ISOFIX
mountings*,
-
statistically
, the safest seats in
your vehicle for carrying children
are the rear seats,
-
a child weighing
less than 9 kg
must travel in the rearward fac-
ing position both in the front and
in the rear.

When a rearward facing child seat is installed
on the front passenger seat,
adjust
the
seat
to
the
intermediate
lon

gitudinal
and
highest
position,
with
the
backrest
straightened.
The
passenger
airbag
must
be
deacti
-
vated.
Otherwise,
the child risks be
-
ing seriously injured or killed if the
airbag were to inflate. When
a forward facing child seat is in -
stalled on the front passenger seat ,
adjust
the
vehicle's
seat
to
the
interme
-
diate
longitudinal
and
highest
position
with
seat
backrest
straightened
and
leave
the
passenger's
front
airbag
ac
-
tivated.
*
Refer
to
the
current
legislation
in
your
country
before
installin
g
a
child
seat
on
this seat.
Ensure that the seat belt is cor-
rectly
tensioned.
For
child
seats
with
a
support
leg,
ensure
that
the
support
leg
is
in
stable
contact
with
the
floor
.
If
necessary
,
adjust
the
passen

ger
seat.
