If this warning lamp comes on in the instrument   panel,   accompanied   by  
a

n   audible   warning   and   a   message,  
c

ontact   a   CITROËN   dealer   or   a  
q

ualified   workshop   without   delay  
t

o   have   the   system   checked.   The  
a

irbags   may   no   longer   be   deployed   in  
t

he   event   of   a   serious   impact. In
  the   event   of   a   fault,   identified   by   at  
l

east   one   of   the   two   airbag   warning  
l

amps,   do   not   install   a   child   seat   or   seat  
a

n   adult   on   the   front   passenger   seat.

When switching on the ignition, an indicator gives   an   estimate   of   the   distance   that   can

e   travelled   with   your   vehicle   before   engine

tarting   is   automatically   prevented,   once   the  
v

ehicle   starts   using   the   reserve   of   AdBlue
® or
after
 
a
 
fault
 
is
 
detected
 
with
 
the
 
SCR
 
system.
In
 
the
 
event
 
of
 
simultaneous
 
system
 
fault
 
and

ow
 
AdBlue
® level, the shortest range is the one d
isplayed. Range greater than 1 500 miles (2 400 km)

Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it does not block   traffic:   the   ground   must   be   level,  
s

table   and   not   slippery.
Apply
  the   parking   brake,   switch   off   the  
i

gnition   and   engage   first   gear   to   block  
t

he   wheels.
Check
  that   the   parking   brake   warning  
l

amps   in   the   instrument   panel   come   on.
The
  occupants   must   get   out   of   the  
v

ehicle   and   wait   where   they   are   safe.
Ensure
  that   the   jack   is   correctly  
p

ositioned   at   one   of   the   vehicle's  
j

acking   points.
Incorrect
  use   of   the   jack   could   cause  
t

he   vehicle   to   drop.
Never
  go   underneath   a   vehicle   raised  
u

sing   a   jack;   use   an   axle   stand.

opping   up.Oil grade
Before topping-up the oil or changing the oil, check   that   the   oil   is   the   correct   grade   for   your

ngine   and   conforms   to   the   manufacturer's  
r

ecommendations.
Topping up the engine oil level
Refer to the "Petrol engine" or "Diesel engine" s ection for the location of the oil filler cap in the
engine
  compartment   of   your   vehicle.

nscrew the oil filler cap to reveal the filler
aperture.

dd   oil   in   small   quantities,   avoiding   any

pills   on   engine   components   (risk   of   fire).

ait   a   few   minutes   before   checking   the

evel   again   using   the   dipstick.

dd   more   oil   if   necessary.

fter   checking   the   level,   carefully   refit   the

il   filler   cap   and   the   dipstick   in   its   tube.
