Switching functions and changing settings
Slide left and right to
select the function.
The function currently being set
up will be surrounded by a frame.
The arrows displayed at the sides
of the frame indicate the direc-
tions in which the frame can be
moved.

Using automatic air conditioning system
Press .

The air conditioning system begins to operate. Air outlets and
fan speed are automatically adjusted according to the tem-
perature setting.
To switch the air conditioning (cooler/dehumidifier functions) ON or
OFF, press . (ON and OFF are switched between each time
the button is pressed.)
*: When is pressed, the current temperature setting display
( ) will be automatically selected.
Turn to the clockwise to raise the temperature, or
counterclockwise to lower.

Adjusting the settings manually
Basic setting
Adjusting the fan speed
Slide to the right to select the fan speed display
().
Turn to the clockwise to increase the fan speed, or
counterclockwise to decrease.
The fan speed can be adjusted in 7 stages.
To switch the air conditioning (cooler/dehumidifier functions) ON or
OFF, press . (ON and OFF are switched between each time
the button is pressed.)
To stop the air flow, press .

Slide to the left or right to select the temperature set-
ting display ( ).
Turn to the clockwise to raise the temperature, or
counterclockwise to lower.
Changing the air outlets
Slide to the left to select the air outlet display

Turn clockwise or counterclockwise.
The air flow shown on the display indicates the following:
Air flows to the upper body.

Press .
The mode switches between recirculated air mode and outside air mode
each time the button is pressed.
The indicator on turn on when the recirculated air mode is
selected.
Defogging the windshield
Press .
The air conditioning system oper-
ates automatically.
Recirculated air mode will auto-
matically switch to outside air
mode. It is not possible to return
to recirculated air mode when the
switch is on.
Once the fog has been removed,
pressing again will return
to the previous mode.

Pollen removal mode
Operates pollen removal mode
on/off.
Outside air mode switches to
recirculated air mode. Pollen is
removed from the air and the air
flows to the upper part of the
body.
Usually the system will turn off
automatically after approximately
3 minutes.
