Displays the driving range, average fuel consumption and other cruis-
ing related information. The display can be switched by pressing the
display change button/“DISP” switch.

Trip information
Displays the total distance the vehicle has
been driven.
Press and hold the display change button/“DISP”
switch switches the display to Eco Driving Indi-

Displays the distance the vehicle has been
driven since the meter was last reset. Trip
meters A and B can be used to record and dis-
play different distances independently.
Press and hold the display change button/“DISP”

Displays the amount of time the engine was
stopped due to the operation of the Stop &
Start system during the current trip (from when
the engine was started until it is turned off).
Displays the total amount of time that the
engine has been stopped due to the operation
of the Stop & Start system since the system

Meter light control displayDisplays the average fuel consumption since
the function was reset.
• Press and hold the display change button/
“DISP” switch to reset.
• Use the displayed average fuel consumption as
a reference.
• Vehicles with a Multidrive: While the average
fuel consumption is being displayed, Eco Driv-
ing Indicator Zone Display is displayed.
Displays the estimated maximum distance that
can be driven with the quantity of fuel remain-
ing.
• This distance is computed based on your aver-
age fuel consumption. As a result, the actual
distance that can be driven may differ from that
displayed.
• When only a small amount of fuel is added to
the tank, the display may not be updated.
When refueling, turn the engine switch off. If the
vehicle is refueled without turning the engine
switch off, the display may not be updated.
Displays the meter light control display.
• Press and hold the display change button/
“DISP” switch to reset will adjust the brightness
of the meter light when the tail lights are on.
• This screen is only displayed when the tail
lights are on.

CAUTION
The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal
information display. At extremely low temperatures, the display monitor may
respond slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver’s shifting and the new gear
number appearing on the display. This lag could cause the driver to down-
shift again, causing rapid and excessive engine braking and possibly an
accident resulting in death or injury.
Cautions during setting up the display
As the engine needs to be running during setting up the display, ensure that
the vehicle is parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area
such as a garage, exhaust gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO)
may collect and enter the vehicle. This may lead to death or a serious
health hazard.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the engine and its components
Do not let the indicator needle of the tachometer enter the red zone, which
indicates the maximum engine speed.
The engine may be overheating if the high engine coolant temperature
warning light comes on. In this case, immediately stop the vehicle in a safe
place, and check the engine after it has cooled completely. (P. 561)

It is possible to customize the language, units and Eco Driving Indica-
tor Light settings using the “DISP” button/“DISP” switch.
When customizing vehicle features, ensure that the vehicle is parked
in a safe place with the shift position in P and the parking brake set.

Weight limits
Check the allowable towing capacity, gross vehicle mass, maximum
permissible axle capacity, and permissible drawbar load before tow-
ing. (P. 568)
Towing hitch/bracket
Toyota recommends the use of the Toyota hitch/bracket for your
vehicle. Other products of a suitable nature and comparable quality
may also be used.
Trailer towing
Your vehicle is designed primarily as a passenger carrying vehi-
cle. Towing a trailer will have an adverse effect on handling, per-
formance, braking, durability, and fuel consumption. Your safety
and satisfaction depend on the proper use of correct equipment
and cautious driving habits. For your safety and the safety of
others, do not overload the vehicle or trailer.
To tow a trailer safely, use extreme care and drive the vehicle in
accordance with the trailer’s characteristics and operating con-
ditions.
Toyota warranties do not apply to damage or malfunction
caused by towing a trailer for commercial purposes.
