Take out the mechanism.
REMOVING
First remove the trim. Then move the window into
the fully open position and remove the fittings se-
curing the mechanism.

Disconnect the mechanism from the window.
Disconnect the wiring harness, depending on the
version.

Locking warning light and sliding door lock51

First remove the trim. Then perform the following operations:
REMOVING THE WARNING LIGHT
Release the mounting clips (1), linkage (2) and control cable (3).
REMOVING THE LOCK
Remove the mounting bolts.
Disconnect the wiring harness, depending on the version.
Disconnect the control cables.

REMOVING
First remove the trim and the screen wiper arm.

Then remove mounting bolts (B).
Disconnect wiring harness (A).

Window in rear door and window in tailgate
When the screen wiper arm has been removed,
disconnect the wiring harness for the rear screen
heater.
Remove:
- window (window in rear door),
- exterior embellisher surround for tailgate
window (bonded window).

preparation and bonding.

Exterior rear view mirror
- mounting nuts.
Disconnect electric wiring harness, depending on
version.

Number plate light
Unclip the part of the unit which is on the outside
of the vehicle.
Disconnect wiring harness.
Remove mounting bolts.

LOWER INTERIOR ACCESSORIES
Dashboard
Unclip gear lever gaiter.
Remove the four mounting bolts.
Disconnect connectors.

Take out speaker grilles.
Remove fittings securing dashboard.
Pull dashboard gently.
Detach clips holding wiring harness.
Disconnect:
- connectors for headlight height adjustment
and hazard warning lights,
- remaining connectors (e.g. decoder).
Remove dashboard.
