The rear spoiler returns to the original position.
If this problem persists or the cause cannot be identified:

Driving with the brake warning lamp illuminated can result in an accident. Have your brake system
checked immediately if the brake warning lamp stays on. Do not add brake fluid before checking
the brake system.
Overfilling the brake fluid reservoir can result in spilling brake fluid on hot engine parts and the
brake fluid catching fire. You can be seriously burned. 186

sounds. The driver or front passenger has not fastened their seat belt. The
vehicle is being driven faster than 15 mph(25 km/h) or has briefly
been driven faster than 15 mph(25 km/h).
G WARNING
If you do not wear the seat belt correctly, it no longer offers the
intended level of protection in the event of an accident. Under
certain circumstances, this could cause severe or even fatal
injuries in the event of an accident.
X Fasten your seat belt (Y page 49).

hill start assist are therefore also deactivated.
The brake system continues to function normally, but without the
functions listed above. The wheels could therefore lock if you
brake hard, for example.
G WARNING
If the ABS malfunctions, the wheels may lock during hard braking.
This limits the steerability of the vehicle when braking and may
increase the braking distance. If ABS is deactivated due to a
malfunction, then BAS, ESP ®
and hill start assist are also
deactivated. There is an increased risk of skidding and an
accident.
X Observe the additional display messages in the multifunction
display (Y page 166).

may either be triggered unintentionally or, in the event of an

triggered unintentionally or, in the event of an accident, are not
triggered, there is an increased risk of injury.

In the event a malfunction of the SRS is indicated as outlined above, the SRS may not be
