Operating audio player or data carrier

Audio data from various audio devices or
media can be played, depending on the
equipment installed in the vehicle.
X Switch on COMAND (Y page 275).
X Select audio player or audio media
(Y page 424).
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Audio menu.
X To select the next/previous track:
briefly press the 9 or : button.
X To select a track from the track list
(rapid scrolling): press and hold the
9 or : button until desired

If you press and hold the 9 or :
button, the rapid scrolling speed is
increased. Not all audio drives or data
carriers support this function.
If track information is stored on the audio
device or medium, the multifunction display

WARNING
The driver's attention to the road must always
be his/her primary focus when driving. For
your safety and the safety of others, we
recommend that you pull over to a safe
location and stop before placing or taking a
telephone call. If you choose to use the
telephone while
driving, please use the hands-
free device and only use the telephone when
road, weather and traffic conditions permit.
Some jurisdictions prohibit the driver from
using a mobile phone while driving a vehicle.
Bear in mind that at a speed of just 30 mph
(approximately 50 km/h), your vehicle covers
a distance of 44 feet (approximately 14 m)

Tire Pressure The tire pressure in one or more tires has dropped significantly.
G WARNING
With tire pressures which are too low, there is a risk of the
following hazards:
R they may burst, especially as the load and vehicle speed
increase.
R they may
wear excessively and/or unevenly, which may greatly
impair tire traction.
R the driving characteristics, as well as steering and braking, may
be greatly impaired.
There is a risk of an accident.
X Stop the vehicle without making any sudden steering or braking
maneuvers. Pay
attention to the traffic conditions as you do so.
X Secure the vehicle against rolling away ( Y page 154).
X If there is a flat tire, inspect the tires ( Y page 509).
X Check the tire pressure (Y page 534).
X If necessary, correct the tire pressure. h
Correct Tire
Pressure The tire pressure is too low in at least one of the tires, or the tire
pressure difference between the wheels is too great.

original music files in a secure
location. An error in COMAND might result
in the loss of the music files stored in the
MUSIC REGISTER. Mercedes-Benz is not
liable for any loss of data.
You can store music files in a compressed
format in the MUSIC REGISTER
(Y page 437). The memory has a capacity of
10 GB.
