Each light can be turned on by pressing a switch
on either side of the console. These buttons are
backlit for night time visibility. To turn the lights
off, press the switch a second time. The lights
will also turn on when the UNLOCK button on

ambient light feature. This light casts illumina-

POWER TILT/TELESCOPING
STEERING COLUMN — IF
EQUIPPED
This feature allows you to tilt the steering col-
umn upward or downward. It also allows you to
lengthen or shorten the steering column. The
power tilt/telescoping steering column lever is
located below the multifunction lever on the
steering column.
To tilt the steering column, move the lever up or
down as desired. To lengthen or shorten the
steering column, pull the lever toward you or
push the lever away from you as desired.NOTE:
For vehicles equipped with Driver Memory
Seat, you can use your Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) transmitter or the memory
switch on the driver’s door trim panel to
return the tilt/telescopic steering column to
pre-programmed positions. Refer to “Driver
Memory Seat” in this section for further
information.
WARNING!
Do not adjust the steering column while
driving. Adjusting the steering column while
driving or driving with the steering column
unlocked, could cause the driver to lose
control of the vehicle. Failure to follow this
warning may result in serious injury or death.
HEATED STEERING WHEEL —
IF EQUIPPED
The steering wheel contains a heating element
that helps warm your hands in cold weather. The
heated steering wheel has only one temperature
setting. Once the heated steering wheel has been
turned on it will operate for approximately 30 to 80
minutes before automatically shutting off. The
heated steering wheel can shut off early or may
not turn on when the steering wheel is already
warm.
The heated steering wheel switch is located on
the switch bank below the climate controls.
There are also soft keys in the radio screen that
will activate the heated steering wheel.
Press the switch to turn on
the heated steering wheel.
The light on the switch will
illuminate to indicate the
steering wheel heater is
on. Pressing the switch a
second time will turn off
the heated steering wheel
and light indicator.
NOTE:
The engine must be running for the heated

Remote Unlock Sequence
WhenUnlock Driver Door Only On 1st Press
is selected, only the driver’s door will unlock on
the first press of the RKE transmitter UNLOCK
button. When Driver Door 1st Press is selected,
you must press the RKE transmitter UNLOCK
button twice to unlock the passenger’s doors.
When Unlock All Doors On 1st Press is
selected, all of the doors will unlock on the first
press of the RKE transmitter UNLOCK button.
To make your selection, scroll up or down until
the preferred setting is highlighted, then press
and release the SELECT button until a check-
mark appears next to the setting, showing that
the setting has been selected.
NOTE:
If the vehicle is equipped with Keyless
Enter-N-Go™ (Passive Entry) and the EVIC
is programmed to Unlock All Doors 1st
Press, all doors will unlock no matter which
Passive Entry equipped door handle is
grasped. If Driver Door 1st Press is pro-
grammed, only the driver’s door will unlock
when the driver’s door is grasped. With Passive Entry, if Driver Door 1st Press is
programmed touching the handle more than
once will only result in the driver’s door
opening. If driver door first is selected, once
the driver door is opened, the interior door
lock/unlock switch can be used to unlock all
doors (or use RKE transmitter).
RKE Linked To Memory
When this feature is selected, you can use your
RKE transmitter to recall one of two pre-
programmed memory profiles. Each memory
profile contains desired position settings for the
driver seat, side mirror, adjustable pedals (if
equipped), power tilt and telescopic steering
column (if equipped), and a set of desired radio
station presets. When OFF is selected, only the
MEMORY switch on the driver’s door trim panel
will recall memory profiles. To make your selec-
tion, press and release the SELECT button a
check-mark appears next to the feature show-
ing the system has been activated or the check-
mark is removed showing the system has been
deactivated. Refer to “Driver Memory Seat” in
“Understanding The Features Of Your Vehicle”.
Flash Lamps With Lock
When this feature is selected, the front and rear
turn signals will flash when the doors are locked
or unlocked with the RKE transmitter. To make
your selection, press and release the SELECT
button until a check-mark appears next to the
feature showing the system has been activated
or the check-mark is removed showing the
system has been deactivated.
Headlamp Off Delay
When this feature is selected, the driver can
choose to have the headlights remain on for 0,
30, 60, or 90 seconds when exiting the vehicle.
To make your selection, scroll up or down until
the preferred setting is highlighted, then press
and release the SELECT button until a check-
mark appears next to the setting, showing that
the setting has been selected.
Headlamps with Wipers (Available with
Automatic Headlamps Only)
When this feature is selected, and the headlight
switch is in the AUTO position, the headlights
will turn on approximately 10 seconds after the
wipers are turned on. The headlights will also

Key-Off Power DelayWhen this feature is selected, the power window
switches, radio, hands-free system (if equipped),
DVD video system (if equipped), power sunroof (if
equipped), and power outlets will remain active
for up to 10 minutes after the ignition switch is
turned OFF. Opening either front vehicle door will
cancel this feature. To make your selection, scroll
up or down until the preferred setting is high-
lighted, then press and release the SELECT
button until a check-mark appears next to the
setting, showing that the setting has been se-
lected.
Illuminated Approach
When this feature is selected, the headlights will
activate and remain on for 0, 30, 60, or 90 sec-

Keyless Enter-N-Go™ (Passive Entry)
This feature allows you to lock and unlock the
vehicle’s door(s) without having to press the
RKE transmitter lock or unlock buttons. To make
your selection, press and release the SELECT
button until a check-mark appears next to the
feature showing the system has been activated
or the check-mark is removed showing the
system has been deactivated. Refer to “Keyless
Enter-N-Go™” in “Things To Know Before Start-
ing Your Vehicle”.
Display Units of Measure In
The EVIC, odometer, and Uconnect® gps (if
equipped) can be changed between English
and Metric units of measure. To make your
selection, press and release the SELECT but-
ton until “ENGLISH” or “METRIC” appears.
Display Fuel Saver — If Equipped
The “ECO” message is located in the Compass/
Temperature display; this message can be
turned on or off. To make your selection, press
and release the SELECT button until a check-
mark appears next to the setting, showing that
the setting has been selected.
