Reinitialisation
Deactivating the rear window and door controls
)For the safety of your children, pressswitch 5to prevent operation of the rear windows irrespective of their position.
With the indicator lamp on, the rear controls aredeactivated.
With the indicator lamp off, the rear controls are
activated.
When the
function is activated,
this warning lamp lights up on the
instrument panel for a few seconds.
This control also deactivates the interior rear door controls (see "Child safety - Electric child lock" section).
In the event of contact during operationof the windows, you must reverse themovement of the window. To do this, pressthe switch concerned.
When the driver operates the passenger
electric window switches, they must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric windows correctly.
Be aware of children when operating thewindows.
Safety anti-pinch
The one-touch electric windows are fitted with
a safety anti-pinch function.
When the window rises and meets an obstacle, it stops and partially lowers again.
In the event of unwanted opening of the window on closing (for example in the presence of frost): )
press the switch until it openscompletely, )
then pull it immediately until itcloses, )
continue to hold the switch for approximately one second after thewindow has closed.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active during these operations.
In the event of a malfunction you must reinitialise
the o
peration of the electric windows: ) release the switch and pull it again until the
window closes completely, ) hold the switch for approximately onesecond after closing,
)
press the switch to lower the window
automatically.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active
during these operations. Always remove the key from the ignition when

Stop & Start
The Stop & Star t system puts the engine temporarily into standby - STOP mode - during stops in the traffic (red lights, traffic jams, or other...). The engine restarts automatically - START mode - as soon as you want to move off. The restar t takes place instantly, quickly and silently.
Per fect for urban use, the Stop & Star t system reduces fuel consumption and exhaust emissions as well as the noise level when stationary.
Operation
Going into engine STOP mode
The "ECO"warning lamp comes
on in the instrument panel and the
engine goes into standby:
- with the 6-speed electronic
gearbox
system, at speeds below 5 mph (8 km/h),
when you press the brake pedal or put thegear lever in position N.
A time counter calculates the sum
of the periods in STOP mode
during a journey. It rests itself
to zero every time the ignition isswitched on with the key.
Special cases: STOP mode notavailable
STOP mode is not invoked when:
- the driver's door is open,
- the driver's seat belt is not fastened,
- the vehicle has not exceeded 6 mph (10 km/h) since the last engine star t using
the key,
- the engine is needed to maintain acomfor table temperature in the passenger compartment,
- demisting is active,
- some special conditions (battery charge,
engine temperature, braking assistance,
ambient temperature...) where the engine isneeded to assure control of a system.
The "ECO"
warning lamp flashes for a few seconds then goes off.
This operation is per fectly normal

Never refuel with the engine in STOPmode; you must switch off the ignition with the key.
For your comfor t, during parking manoeuvres, STOP mode is not available for a few seconds after coming out of reverse gear.STOP mode does not affect the functionality of the vehicle, such as for example, braking, power steering...
