Energy economy mode
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated automaticallythe next time the vehicle is driven. )In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, star t the engine and
let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be double
the period for which the engine is left running. However, this period will always be betweenfive and thir ty minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once this period has elapsed, a message
appears on the multifunction screen indicating
that the vehicle has switched to economy mode
and the active functions are put on standby.
A flat battery prevents the engine from starting (refer to the corresponding paragraph).
If the telephone is being used at the same time on the eMyWay audionavigation system, it will be interrupted after 10 minutes. S
ystem which manages the period of use of certain functions to conserve a sufficient level
of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you canstill use functions such as the audio equipment, windscreen wipers, dippedbeam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a
maximum combined period of thirty minutes. S
ystem which manages the use of cer tain
functions according to the level of chargeremaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the loadreduction function temporarily deactivates certain functions, such as the air conditioning,
the heated rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated automatically as soon as conditions permit.
Load reduction mode
This period may be greatly reduced if the battery is not fully charged.

Changing a front or rear wiper blade
Removal
)Raise the corresponding wiper arm. )Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting
)
At the front, check the size of the wiper blade as the shorter blade is fitted to the
passenger side of the vehicle. ) Put the corresponding new wiper blade in
place and clip it.
) Fold down the wiper arm carefully.
Before removing a front

)Within one minute after switching off the
ignition, operate the wiper stalk to position
the wiper blades in the ver tical position.
This position must be used in order to avoid damaging the wiper blade and the bonnet.
After fitting a front wiper
blade
) Switch on the ignition. )
Operate the wiper stalk again to park the
wiper blades.
Procedure for replacin
g a worn wiper blade with a new one without the use of tools.

Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radiocommunication transmitter, you cancontact a CITROËN dealer for thespecification of transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest,warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.
By going to a CITROËN dealer, you can also
obtain cleanin
g and maintenance products (interior and exterior) - including ecological products in the "TECHNATURE" range - products for topping up (screenwash fluid...),
touch up pens and paint aerosols for the exact
colour of your vehicle, recharges (cartridge for
the temporary puncture repair kit...), ...
The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not recommended by CITROËN may resultin a failure of your vehicle's electronicsystem and excessive electrical consumption. Please note this precaution. Youare advised to contact a CITROËNrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.
