TITLE Displays track title,
artist, and other text
information, if available. 8 Bass, treble, and
balance settings.
1 to 6 Preset stations (FM/AM) and channels (XM). SKIP Finds stations with strong signal (FM/AM). Skip to start/end of tracks, or press and hold to fast reverse/forward (Disc). SCAN Plays 10-second sample of each station (FM/ AM), channel (XM), or track (Disc). Press again to play the current selection. A.SEL Scans and automatically
stores the strongest
FM/AM station in each preset.
TUNE Tunes to next frequency (FM/AM) or channel (XM). Fast-reverse/forward.
CATEGORY Selects next category (XM) or next folder (WMA, MP3, AAC).
Loading a Disca
Press the DISC/HDD button.

Insert a disc into the disc slot. The disc automatically starts playing.

Press the AUDIO button to display the audio screen. Select an audio source (e.g., FM/AM) to stop the disc. Press the

(Eject) button to remove
the disc. If you eject but do not remove the disc, the disc automatically reloads after a few seconds.

Command InputIf the system does not understand a command or you wait too long to give a command, it responds with “Pardon,” “Please repeat,” or “Would you say again.” When you give a command, the system ge
nerally either repeats the command as a
confirmation or asks you for further informa
tion. If you do not wish to hear this
feedback, you can turn it off. However, list
ening to the feedback will help familiarize
you with the way the system expe
cts commands to be phrased.

1.Open the AUX cover.2.Connect a standard audio device to the input jack using a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo miniplug.
The audio system automatically switches to the AUX mode.
Audio System Theft ProtectionThe audio system is disabled when it is
disconnected from the power source (e.g.,
when the battery is disc
onnected or goes dead.)
■Entering the Audio Security Code“ENTER CODE” appears on the displa
y when the power is reconnected.
1.Turn on the audio system.2.Enter the audio security code using the pr
eset buttons. If you enter an incorrect
digit, continue to the last digit, then
try again. If you do not enter the code
correctly after 10 tries, you need to vi
sit a dealer to have the system reset.
1Auxiliary Input JackTo switch the mode, press any of the other audio mode buttons. You can return to the AUX mode by pressing the AUX button. You cannot use the auxili
ary input jack if you
replace the audio system. 1Audio System Theft ProtectionFind the audio system’s security code and serial number on the radio code card.Do not store the card in your vehicle. If you lose the radio code card, you must obtain the information from a dealer.

The ST indicator comes on the display for stereo FM broadcasts. Stereo re
production in AM is not
available. The radio can receive the complete AM and FM bands: AM band: 530 to 1710 kHz FM band: 87.7 to 107.9 MHz You can store six AM stati
ons and 12 FM stations
in the preset buttons. FM1 and FM2 let you store six stations each.
