Rear view monitor system
: If equipped
The rear view monitor system assists the driver by displaying an
image of the view behind the vehicle while reversing. The image is
displayed in reverse on the screen . This allows the image to appear
in the same manner as that of the rear view mirror.
With navigation system
Refer to the “Navigation System Owner’s Manual”.
Without navig ation system
Vehicles with smart key sys-
tem:
To display the rear view image
on the inside rear view mirror,
the shift lever is in the “R”
position when the “ENGINE
START STOP” switch is in the
IGNITION ON mode.
Vehicles without smart key
system:
To display the rear view image
on the inside rear view mirror,
the shift lever is in the “R”
position when the engine
switch is in the “ON” position.
This reversed image is a simi-
lar image to the one on the
inside rear view mirror.
If you move the lever out of

mode.
Vehicles without smart key system: If “From Car” is selected, the
portable player will be automatically connected whenever the engine
switch is in either “ACC” or “ON” position.
Changing the registered name of a portable player
Select “Change Name” using a voice command or .
Select the name of the portable player to be changed by
either of the following methods, and select “Confirm” using a
voice command or :
a. Press the talk switch and say the name of desired portableplayer.
b. Press the talk switch and say “List Audio Players”. When
the name of the desired portable player is read aloud, press
the talk switch.

●Use caution when seating the following persons in a seat with the seat
heater on to avoid the possibility of burns:
• Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the disabled
• Persons with sensitive skin
• Persons who are fatigued
• Persons who have taken alcohol or drugs that induce sleep (sleeping
drugs, cold remedies, etc.)
● Do not cover the seat with anything when using the seat heater.
Using the seat heater with a blanket or cushion increases the temperature
of the seat and may lead to overheating.
NOTICE
■To prevent seat heater/ventilator damage
Do not put heavy objects on the seat and do not stick sharp objects (nee-
dles, nails, etc.) into the seat.
■ To prevent battery discharge
Turn the switches off when the engine is not running.
