DEFINITIONThis parameter indicates the opening ratio of the EGR valve in %.
NOTESThere must be no present or stored faults.
Perform this fault finding procedure:
– after finding an inconsistency in the parameter,
– after a customer complaint (loss of power, smoke etc.).
– after interpretation of command AC103 EGR by-pass.

Check the continuity and absence of interference resistance of the following connections:

•3GC between components 120 and 1460 or 169.
If the connection or connections are faulty and there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical
wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.

The value of the engine speed with air conditioning must be:
PR053 = 0 rpm (ignition on).

The speed requested by the air-conditioning is increased and varies around 850 rpm.
