This procedure consists of connecting the

To optimise the ser vice life of themain battery, recharge it completely every 15 days.For a recharge to be complete
, follow the procedure for a normalrecharge
(domestic power point)without interruption, until it switches off automatically (charging lamp goes off inthe instrument panel).
Before making any connection, checkthat the power point you want to use meets standards * and is compatiblewith the current rating on the control unit of the charging cable
.In all cases, it is recommended thatyou have your installation checkedby a qualified electrician before use
and then on a regular basis.
You must always use a genuinePEUGEOT charging cable.
Do not use an electricalextension lead, multi-wayconnector, adaptor or timer.

Main batterycharge (normal or fast)
On fixed.The main battery is on charge. On completion of the charge, the lamp goes off.

the vehicle but the main battery is not yet charging. Check the connection of the char
ging cable.

Flashing. Activation of the ESP/ASR systems. The systems optimise traction and improve the
directional stability of the vehicle.
Adapt your driving and moderate your speed.
On fixed. Fault in the ESP/ASR systems. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.

Door(s) openOn fixed, accompanied by anaudible signal. A door or the boot is still open.
Close the door or boot.
Ancillariesbattery chargeOn fixed. The ancillaries battery chargingcircuit has a fault (dirty or loose
terminals, slack, transformer fault, ...).The warning lamp should go o
ff when the motor isstarted.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or
qualified workshop.
Electric power steeringOn fixed. The electric power steering has afault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
