Opening the bonnet


Opening
)From inside
: pull the release lever, located on the left below the dashboard, towards you.
Before doing anything under the bonnet,switch off the ignition (Readylamp off) to avoid any risk of injury resulting from automatic operation of the engine.


Closing
)Lower the bonnet and release it at the end of its travel. )Check that it is latched correctly.


)From the outside: lift the safety catch and raise the bonnet.
A bonnet strut opens the bonnet and holds itopen.


Never touch, handle or remove the orange "high voltage" cables.

Par ticle emission filter (Diesel)
The star t of saturation of the par ticle
filter is indicated by the temporaryillumination of this warning lamp
accompanied by a message in the
multi-function screen.
As soon as the traffic conditions permit,regenerate the filter by driving at a speed of at least 40 mph (60 km/h) untilthe warning lamp goes off. If the warning lamp stays on, this indicates a low additive level.
On a new vehicle, the first par ticle filter regeneration operations may be accompanied by a "burning" smell, which is perfectly normal.Following prolonged operation of the vehicle at very low speed or at idle,you may, in exceptional circumstances,notice the emission of water vapour at the exhaust on acceleration. This doesnot affect the behaviour of the vehicle or the environment.

The 100% electric mode is not available
during regeneration of the par ticle emissions filter.
