Interior mood lighting
This subdued passenger compar tment lighting
improves visibility inside the vehicle in low
lighting conditions.
Head-up display
This system projects speed and cruise control/speed limiter information onto a smoked strip
in the driver's field of vision, so that they do not need to take their eyes off the road.

After setting the desired level of comfor t, the system then automatically controls this level

Practical information
The batteries contain harmful substances such as sulphuric acid and lead. They must be disposed of inaccordance with regulations and must not, in any circumstances, be discarded with household waste. Ta k e used remote control batteries andvehicle batteries to a special collectionpoint.
Do not reverse the polarity and use only a 12 V charger.
Do not disconnect the terminals whilethe engine is running.
Do not charge the batteries without disconnecting the terminals first. Do not push the vehicle to star t the engine if it is fitted with the 6 -speed electronic gearbox system or an automatic gearbox.
It is advisable to disconnect the battery if the vehicle is to be left unused for more than one month.
Before disconnecting the battery
Wait 2 minutes after switching off the ignitionbefore disconnecting the battery.
Close the windows and the doors beforedisconnecting the battery.
Following reconnection of thebattery
Following reconnection of the battery, switch on
the ignition and wait 1 minute before star ting to
permit initialisation of the electronic systems.However, if problems remain following this
operation, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Referring to the corresponding section, you must yourself reinitialise:
- the remote control key,
- the panoramic sunroof blind,
- the GPS satellite navigation system.
Load reduction mode
System which manages the use of cer tain
functions according to the level of charge
remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is bein
g driven, the load
reduction function temporarily deactivates certain functions, such as the air conditioning,
the heated rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated
automatically as soon as conditions permit.

The fitting of electrical equipmentor accessories which are notrecommended by PEUGEOT may result in a failure of your vehicle's electronic system and excessive electricalconsumption.Please note this precaution. You areadvised to contact a PEUGEOTrepresentative to be shown the rangeof recommended equipment andaccessories.
Installation of radio communication transmitters
Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you can contact a PEUGEOT dealer for the specification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power, aerial position, specific installation
requirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/10 4/EC).
Depending on the legislation in force in the country, it may be compulsoryto have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle and spare bulbs and fuses available in the vehicle. You can also obtain products
for cleaning and
maintenance (exterior and interior) and topping up fluids (screenwash, ...), as well as refills(cartridge for temporary tyre repair kit...) fromPEUGEOT dealers.
