Installation of radio
communication transmitters
Before installing any after-
market radio communication
transmitter, you can contact a
PEUGEOT dealer for the speci-
fi cation of transmitters which
can be fi tted (frequency, maxi-
mum power, aerial position, spe-
cifi c installation requirements),
in line with the Vehicle Electro-
magnetic Compatibility Directive
(2004/104/EC).

Depending on the legislation in
force in the country, it may be
compulsory to have a high vis-
ibility safety vest, warning trian-
gle and spare bulbs and fuses
available in the vehicle.
The fi tting of electrical equipment
or accessories which are not rec-
ommended by PEUGEOT may
result in a failure of your vehicle's
electronic system and excessive
electrical consumption.

shown the range of recommend-
ed equipment and accessories.

A.
Manufacturer's plate.
The Vehicle Identifi cation Number
(VIN) is indicated on a plate on the
centre pillar, on the passenger's side.
B.
Serial number under the bonnet.
The VIN is engraved on the body-
work near the windscreen.
C.
Front number plate.
D.
Tyres/paint label.
This label is affi xed to the driver's
door centre pillar.
It indicates the following informa-
tion:
- tyre pressures, laden and unladen,
- wheel rim and tyre sizes,
- tyre pressure for the spare wheel,
- paint colour code. The tyre pressures must be
checked when cold at least once
a month.
