Rear window and outside rear view mirror
defoggers
On/off
The defoggers will automatically
turn off after 15 to 60 minutes. The
operation time changes according
to the ambient temperature and
vehicle speed.
Operating conditions
The engine switch must be in the IGNITION ON mode.
These features are used to defog the rear window, and to remove
raindrops, dew and frost from the outside rear view mirrors.
CAUTION
When the outside rear view mirror defoggers are on
Do not touch the rear view mirror surfaces, as they can become very hot
and burn you.
NOTICE
To prevent battery discharge
Turn the defoggers off when the engine is off.

Windshield wiper de-icer
Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch. (P. 368)
Select “Climate” on the
“Menu” screen.
ON/OFF
Select to turn on the wind-
shield wiper de-icer. The wind-
shield wiper de-icer will
automatically turn off after
approximately 15 minutes. Select-
ing again also turns the de-
icer off.
Operating conditions
The engine switch must be in the IGNITION ON mode.
: If equipped
This feature is used to prevent ice from building up on the wind-
shield and wiper blades.

CAUTION
When the windshield wiper de-icer is on
Do not touch the glass at the lower part of the windshield or to the side of
the front pillars as the surfaces can become very hot and burn you.

Audio system type
CD and DVD player with AM/FM radio
Vehicles with a 12.3-inch display: The audio functions can be dis-
played and operated on the “Side Display”. For details, refer to the
“Navigation System Owner’s Manual”.
The illustration below is for left-hand drive vehicles with a 8-inch
display.
The button positions and shapes will differ for right-hand drive
vehicles.
Also, the display and button positions will differ depending on the
type of the system.
Using the instrument panel
Press the “RADIO” or “MEDIA” button to display the audio
control screen.
Using the Remote Touch
Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, select
“Audio” and select each tab to display the audio control screen.

Using cellular phones
Interference may be heard through the audio system’s speakers if a cellular
phone is being used inside or close to the vehicle while the audio system is
operating.
When using the Remote Touch screen
Dimmed screen buttons cannot be operated.
