You can signal another vehicle with
your headlights by lightly pulling the
multifunction lever toward you. This
will turn on the high beams headlights
until the lever is released.
COURTESY LIGHTS
The courtesy lights can be turned on
by pressing the top corner of the lens.
To turn the lights off, press the lens a
second time.FRONT MAP/READING
LIGHTS
The front map/reading lights can be
turned on by pressing a switch on
either side of the console. These
switches are backlit for night time
visibility. To turn the lights off, press
the switch a second time. The lightswill also turn on when the UNLOCK
button on the Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) is pressed.
AMBIENT LIGHT
The overhead console is equipped
with an ambient light feature. This
light casts illumination for improved
visibility of the floor center console
and PRNDL area.
INTERIOR LIGHTS
The interior lights come on when a
door is opened.
To protect the battery, the interior
lights will turn off automatically
10 minutes after the ignition switch is
moved to the LOCK position. This
will occur if the interior lights were
switched on manually or are on be-
cause a door is open. This includes the

To unlock the steering column, pull
the control handle outward. To tilt the
steering column, move the steering
wheel upward or downward as de-
sired. To lengthen or shorten the
steering column, pull the steering
wheel outward or push it inward as
desired. To lock the steering column
in position, push the control handle
inward until fully engaged.WARNING!
Do not adjust the steering column
while driving. Adjusting the steering
column while driving or driving with
the steering column unlocked, could
cause the driver to lose control of the

STEERING COLUMN (for

This feature allows you to tilt the
steering column upward or down-
ward. It also allows you to lengthen or
shorten the steering column. The
power tilt/telescoping steering col-
umn switch is located below the mul-
tifunction lever on the steering col-
umn.
To tilt the steering column, move the
switch up or down as desired. To
lengthen or shorten the steering col- umn, pull the switch toward you or
push the switch away from you as
desired.
NOTE:
For vehicles equipped with Driver
Memory Seat, you can use your Re-
mote Keyless Entry (RKE) trans-
mitter or the memory switch on the
driver's door trim panel to return
the tilt/telescopic steering column
to pre-programmed positions. Re-
fer to “Driver Memory Seat” in this
section.

Do not adjust the steering column
while driving. Adjusting the steering
column while driving or driving with
the steering column unlocked, could
cause the driver to lose control of the

Press the switch forward to move the
pedals forward (toward the front of

The pedals cannotbe adjusted
when the vehicle is in REVERSE or
when the Electronic Speed Control
System is on. The following mes-
sages will be displayed on vehicles
equipped with the Electronic Ve-
hicle Information System (EVIC) if
the pedals are attempted to be ad- justed when the system is locked
out (“Adjustable Pedal Disabled —
Cruise Control Engaged” or “Ad-
justable Pedal Disabled — Vehicle
In Reverse”.
NOTE:

Control takes over accelerator opera-
tions at speeds greater than 40 km/h.

ParkView® Backup Camera (forversions/markets, where
provided)
Your vehicle may be equipped with
the ParkView® Rear Back Up Cam-
era that allows you to see an on-screen
image of the rear surroundings of
your vehicle whenever the shift lever
is put into REVERSE. The image will
be displayed on the radio touchscreen
display along with a caution note to
“check entire surroundings” across
the top of the screen. After five sec-
onds, this note will disappear. The
ParkView® camera is located on the
rear of the vehicle above the rear Li-
cense plate. To make your selection,
touch the ParkView® Backup Cam-
era soft-key, until a check-mark ap-
pears next to setting, showing that
setting has been selected. Touch the
back arrow soft-key to return to the
previous menu. Rain Sensing Auto Wipers (for

When this feature is selected, the sys-
tem will automatically activate the
windshield wipers if it senses moisture

Headlight Illumination On Approach (for versions/markets,
where provided)
When this feature is selected, the
headlights will activate and remain on
for 0, 30, 60, or 90 seconds when the
doors are unlocked with the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. To
change the Illuminated Approach sta-
tus, touch the + or - soft-key to select
your desired time interval. Touch the
back arrow soft-key to return to the
previous menu.

Headlights With Wipers (forversions/markets, where

When this feature is selected, and the
headlight switch is in the AUTO posi-
tion, the headlights will turn on ap-
proximately 10 seconds after the wip-
ers are turned on. The headlights will
also turn off when the wipers are
turned off if they were turned on by
this feature. To make your selection,
touch the Headlights With Wipers
soft-key, until a check-mark appears

Auto Dim High Beams “SmartBeam™” (for

When this feature is selected, the
headlights turn relative to a change in
direction of the steering wheel. To

After pressing the Doors & Locks soft-

Auto Unlock On Exit (for

stopped and the transmission is in the
PARK or NEUTRAL position and the
driver's door is opened. To make your

1st Press Of Key Fob Unlocks (for versions/markets, where
provided)
When 1st Press Of Key Fob Unlocks is
selected, only the driver's door will
unlock on the first press of the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter UN-
LOCK button. When 1st Press Of Key
Fob Unlocks is selected, you must
press the RKE transmitter UNLOCK
button twice to unlock the passenger's

doors. When Unlock All Doors On 1st
Press is selected, all of the doors will
unlock on the first press of the RKE
transmitter UNLOCK button.
NOTE:
If the vehicle is programmed 1st
Press Of Key Fob Unlocks, all
doors will unlock no matter which
Passive Entry equipped door
handle is grasped. If 1st Press Of
Key Fob Unlocks is programmed,
only the driver’s door will unlock
when the driver’s door is grasped.
With Passive Entry, if 1st Press Of
Key Fob Unlocks is programmed
touching the handle more than
once will only result in the driver’s
door opening. If driver door first is
selected, once the driver door is
opened, the interior door lock/
unlock switch can be used to un-
lock all doors (or use RKE trans-
mitter). Passive Entry (for

provided)
This feature allows you to lock and
unlock the vehicle’s door(s) without
having to press the Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) transmitter lock or un-
lock buttons. To make your selection,
touch the Passive Entry soft-key, until
